Up until the stoppage I thought the fight could go either way. Both men had been hurt. Rigo was down on the cards by at least 3 rounds.

Terrible corrupt stoppage. The clacker went for 10 seconds left of the round as Ceja went down. He gets up on 8. So there can't be more than 3-4 seconds left of the round. He put his gloves up and his eyes were clear and the ref stopped it?

Rigo only won two rounds IMO and was well on his way to losing that fight. So the ref took the opportunity to screw Ceja over. Definitely one of the more poorer stoppages I've seen in awhile.

I had Ceja up by three. Thought it may have been a quick stoppage.

Ceja is kind of chinny. I have seen him get knocked before. It was a quick stoppage but I am not sure he would have recovered.

All he had to do was survive a few seconds to the end of the round. I didn't see what the ref saw.

This fight reminded me of Lara - Castano, where a slower Lara was mixing it up more.

I've been wanting to see Spencer since he turned pro. Good amateur background 90-10.

That's not good. Geez he looks like a full blown middleweight, doesn't he?

Spencer really needs to keep his hands up or else he'll get caught when he steps up to better comp.

Spence has some serious flaws he needs to work on. He's still very young.

He didn't impress. Lucky it was only a six rounder IMO.

I agree that was fishy... definitely a pro Rigondeaux ref...but we could've had the other official(Byrd) lol..

Harrison would be taking fakery pretty far if he had surgery as some sort of cover up.

cota was leaning on the ropes and the ref did not have him put his gloves up or walk toward him or even make any effort to see if he was OK to fight. This kind of stuff gives boxing a bad name...

Charlo did what he was supposed to. Agree with poster that ref didn't handle the ending well. Cota looked done after the first KD and was somewhat unresponsive (body language).

Funny you say that because the Rigo fight was ended too quickly.

That was an absolutely devastating KO. I hope Cota is OK. He looked like he was dead.
