Any UK firm will give you a price if you ask them.
And it'll probably be 8/1.
Not worth it, you'll be better backing him throughout the journey. WW is one division where there are no rubbish vacant opponents going for years on end.

He reminds me of Eubank Jr in some ways. As in super fit, super aggressive, suoer motivated, and defensively lacking.
He may learn better boxing as time goes by. He has a good team around him and is being matched pretty well I think.
So, given the right time and opportunity, I also think he wins a "version" of a title. Perhaps like Eubank Jr did.
Whatever does happen, he is fun to watch even if his personality grates me ;-)

I think eubank jr is a good few levels above Connor ..,.. there's next to no chance of Benn winning a world title other than a wba which means nothing now .

Of course Eubank Jr is levels above now.
But at roughly the same amount of fights, they aren't too far apart.
Actually, I would go so far as to say 22 year old Benn is better than 22 year old Eubank Jr :maybe:
At 22 Eubank was fighting Terry Carruthers (11-11) and Harry Matthews (12-5) both fights going the distance...

Eubank (to his credit) relocated to the states to learn under mike mccallum and Floyd. Mayweather snr. I just can't see benn doing as well. Tony sims is a shit trainer who basically gets favours from matchroom imo.

He's still young and could improve leaps and bounds if he works hard but at the moment it's difficult to see him winning a world title at the weights within his scope

I think he’ll lose too many and become disinterested before he becomes good enough to win a proper world title, but happy to be proved wrong.

Always worth a watch though and he clearly loves it. He can have a good career without being a world champ!

He could be steered towards one no doubt. Be interesting to see how he fares at British level first though.

Yes, a few fights down the track for a British would be interesting.
Not sure that will happen though.
At least not for a while. We have seen British boxers side step the domestic title recently and keep plastering imported cab drivers, I could see that happening with Benn.

benn gets hit far too easily , even at journeyman level. youve got spence and crawford as current world title holders...both of whom would have smashed the current benn when they were in their teens. 22 is not particularly young either...theres been plenty of world champs at that age, and younger. canelo fought a near peak mayweather when he was 22.

Eubank Jr was class from turning Pro Benn is not they cant even be compared. Benn is fit and can bang a bit thats about it. His ability is area level but he will probably win a british or commonwealth owing to his name. A world title no way just hasn't got it.

Far too easy to hit.

When he fights someone who can bank he's going to be in a whole world of trouble.

I think somehow Okolie, Benn will win titles... I bet the likes of Herol Graham, Ken Norton, David Tua, Henry Cooper, Oscar Bonavena would've loved to have been boxing today

Eubank hasn’t won a world title yet an he’s operating in a painfully weak division. He’s vastly overrated by many on hear but he’s a boxing clinician compared to Benn!

Benn really is bang average but he has a lot of money and hype behind him so there’s always a chance he’ll be bought some trinket. He’ll never be close to being the best at his weight though - which is what the yardstick should be

My annoyance is that as such a huge Benn fan back in the day, I should be wanting his son to do well but just want to see him splattered.

Both Harry Matthews and Terry Carruthers are tough, skilled men. Good examples of ‘what if they could sell a ticket...?’

I'd be very surprised if he goes too far in the sport. He is easy to hit and as soon as he steps up in class he will get done over.

I don't see it. He can crack, that much is clear, but that's only a small part of what you need.

Can see him being one of those that improves once he’s had a couple of losses, he can hit and has the right instincts but still looks a bit lost in there like he’s not completely sure how to go about things, give him time he’s still a work in progress and yeah his name has opened up a few doors for him but that’s the way it goes in this game.
