Breidis is the better fighter, but I have a bit of a man-crush on Dorticos, he reminds me of some nearly-man 1990s heavyweight I can't quite name...

Breidis should win, he's more solid & less flappy than the Cuban, but man I just hope Yunier plants one of those right hands on him. That'd make my year, that would.

The Cuban better pray it's not in fuckin' Latvia, though, 'cos Breidis could get away with literal murder over there!

Glo started this all with the rabbit punch to begin with. He made Briedis an angry man. What followed is a shame for boxing though. Something should be done.

Anger cannot be a justification for series of deliberate dirty fouls of much higher calibre. Glow hit with a rabbit punch which happens all the times in boxing, Briedis answered with an entirely illegal blow from completely different sport discipline (which he happened to be very good at prior to his boxing career) and subsequently knocked Glo down with a rabbit punch. See the difference?

I favoured Briedis since the beginning but I’ve changed my mind.
Dorticos is more than just a big puncher and I think he is capable of hurting and outboxing Briedis.
I don’t think Briedis has been the same fighter since Usyk. I think that defeat hurt him mentally.

briedis looks to have a sturdy chin (has he ever been hurt?) and i defo think hes more diverse then dort. dorts strong but hes never really stood out what so ever for outboxing guys to me. but bridies can be hot and cold, and dort has some big fire power

interesting fight

Would Bellew have beaten Briedis? Had he defended his world title against him?

Just a question?

I don’t really think Bellew was on Briedis’ level. Just like he wasn’t Usyk.

I'd probably take Bellew to edge Briedis, Bellew is as underated as Briedis is overrrated

I actually thought Vallily done well before Briedis stopped him, not sure if it was just a case of Briedis being a bit pedestrian or maybe even a Hurd/Welborn scenario where Briedis just decided he'd had enough of Vallily

Byrd was terrible. Briedis should have been instantly disqualified. No ifs or buts about it.

much of the reaction to this fight has been interesting. maybe an inner look at ppls mentalities

like, you foul me once, now i have a pass to do whatever the f@ck i want and its all justified no matter the degree or amouint, because you started it

give an inch of cause for retaliation, and some ppl will take a f@cking mile of payback :oo

not that i am really peeved, because i think it was a legit and very nicely timed uppercut that really did the serious damage

That elbow hit was a nasty one. I am not sure that Glowacki ever recovered from that one.

Funny to see people calling out Glow for over acting the hit when the same kind of strikes knock people the fornicate out in MMA and thai boxing. There is no way to tell how badly he got shaken.

Massive fornicate up from the ref. This whole mess stole a great boxing match from the fans.

On top of that I think Briedis would have won it anyway if the fight was kept clean

Of course it must have hurt, but when he was on the flow, he began acting and milking it a little, that’s when the ref said get up.

Not saying what happened in the fight was good. It was all a big mess.

How do you know he was milking it?

To my eyes he looked shaken after that blow. Never fully recovered...

I meant when he was on the floor.
