It is a bit of a trek, but Manchester is top city. I’m sure some would travel with him. Make a night/weekend out of it.ppb wrote: ↑27 May 2019, 18:06 Just texted and called the promoters a number of occasions. His name is in there but they’re looking for more local guys that can bring a few fans with them. I understand. It’s a big ask of your mates to travel that far. And he can bang a bit so I thought that would excite the promotion but let’s see if there’s any call offs.

Re: Ultimate Boxxer IV: Cruiserweights - 28 June 2019
The form seems to have changed for this one however it makes for an exciting show I feel as there are a few bangers and lads that will go for broke to take thier careers on
Kaupinen is a solid shout and has been the distance with Lawal (and was very much in that fight) who is the favourite of many going into this
With a career of 19 fights the record of his previous oponents combined is 108 - 7 - 0 is pretty impressive when you take into account the only other fighter in this that has faught anyone with a winning record is Conquest.

So is Conquest the favourite for this one or is he done? I saw his comeback fight last year but I don’t think he has fought since then. Surely he has mixed at a higher class than the rest...

Indeed, but what does he have left? The fight I saw was a routine 6/8 round workout against a Latvian Uber driver so his current level is a bit of a mystery. On paper it actually looks like the best of these tournaments so far...

As has been pointed out, this is a stray from the original competitor profile and more like the old Prize Fighter shows.
Should be a bit of fun.

I haven’t seen Lawal fight will see if I can check anything out on YouTube. From his record he has feasted on journeymen up to this point and you never know what will happen until they face an established fighter...

Looking forward to this, I like these tourneys there mostly always good value and Cruiserweight seldom disappoint anytime, obviously Conquest is the most experienced, former Commonwealth champ and shared the ring with some good opposition but I wonder how much he's got left, he's been retired, come back got stopped from Turchi last time I saw him, I don't know a lot of these fellas but I know Lawal and fancy him to win the trophy

I read last night that East Kilbride's David Jamieson has been added. Don't know who's out.
