What's funny? I'm f*cking right.
He may well have been stopped, but he had done well enough in the fight to be allowed to continue. That's a goddamn fact of life.

I'd have given him more time.

Any good referee would have.
Saad's just being difficult
In spite of the heated exchange there, he's one of my favorite posters, he's just a wise ass that can get your goat when he wants to insist he's right about something
But in that way we are similar so I can't hold it against him.

It would serve you well to read the whole thread. I said at least once I'd rather see him get the minute. You saying he might not have made it is exactly why I wouldn't call it a "robbery". Robbery to me is no doubt it changed the outcome. You're very emotional about this one. I was cheering on ceja but couldn't care less. You're still wrong, I've seen hundreds and hundreds of worse stoppages.gilgamesh wrote: ↑25 Jun 2019, 16:30 Any good referee would have.

I didn't say it was the worst stoppage I'd ever seen. Just said it was a bad one, and no I don't bother to read the whole thread most of the time. I don't got that kinda time, but I'm glad you agree he deserved the minute.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑25 Jun 2019, 16:37 It would serve you well to read the whole thread. I accept your apology, you certainly reacted like it was one of the worst ever.
Re: Guillermo Rigondeaux vs. Julio Ceja - June 23, 2019
No apology. When you said "I would rather have seen him get the minute" you said "You're right Gil" just in other words.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑25 Jun 2019, 16:42 I accept your apology, you certainly reacted like it was one of the worst ever.
So we're done here.

i thought it was the opposite of ceja wobbling all over, he basically just stood there

Too each their own, I think a child could have pushed him over.
Re: Guillermo Rigondeaux vs. Julio Ceja - June 23, 2019
it couldve well been that he wasnt moving because he knew he was unbalanced and would stagger over. but it did look like he stuck to that spot for a while whatever the reason
Re: Guillermo Rigondeaux vs. Julio Ceja - June 23, 2019
People have definitely spent a lot more time writing posts about him wobbling and stumbling than he actually spent wobbling or stumbling.

That stoppage gets worse each time I watched it...
That ref is suspect...
I know Rigo needed an impressive win to stay relevant and is the more marketable fighter by name but.........
