Wladimir Klitschko rescued from burning yacht
https://news.sky.com/story/wladimir-kli ... a-11748697
Former world heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko and his family have been rescued from their motor yacht after it caught fire.
The 43-year-old Ukrainian revealed the incident happened off the coast of Majorca in the Mediterranean Sea on Sunday night.
Klitschko tweeted: "Be careful what you wish for: fate took my wish for 'some #adrenalin' a bit too literally and our boat-trip Sunday night ended up in our boat #igniting and family & friends being evacuated by coast guard and fire rescue-team. No worries: we are all fine!"
Spain's Maritime Rescue Service confirmed it responded to an emergency call, although a spokeswoman declined to provide the identities of those involved because of privacy rules.
She said the yacht, which was carrying nine people, reported a fire in its engine room and was drifting 10 miles southwest of Port Adriano.
Nobody was hurt.

Thank the sea gods that everyone on that boat is safe. Fire at sea is a terrible thing. They were lucky they weren't far ther out. Boats and the sea have almost got me numerous times, and who knows they may get me yet.

That crap in the restaurant and this had to be staged. If it wasn't, Briggs should have been arrested and charged with felonious assault with a deadly weapon, which is what it is if you use your motorized vehicle to harass and assault someone, especially someone who is very vulnerable in the water.

Did you notice how empty the restaurant was? No customers to get in the way of the mayhem.
Staged stuff in boxing? Who knew?

Cameras all ready and waiting to film all the action in the restaurant AND on the water! Building up a "story line" for a potential fight which never happened. Boxing is getting to be like wrestling.

This was quite clearly staged, but I still found it very funny.

It was exactly like any promotional video that you'll see in the WWE.Ilya Muromets wrote: ↑26 Jun 2019, 22:21 Cameras all ready and waiting to film all the action in the restaurant AND on the water! Strange that Klitschko and Briggs went to all this trouble and never bothered fighting each other.

Briggs says it was real. I am upset at something like that not being prosecuted as I used to go sea kayaking and canoeing and swimming a lot (when I lived by the ocean) and some drunk - or drug addict like Briggs - could use his power boat as a deadly weapon against swimmers, kayakers, etc. as well as stand up paddle boarders.

Man, I figured vitali swooped in to best someone that knocked him out. Even with the real story it's surprising vitali isn't getting credit for it even if he wasn't there.
