Golovkin has already beaten Canelo twice, and the judges f*cked him twice.

Waiting until Father Time beats him and Canelo actually gets a legitimate victory because GGG just ain't what he used to be isn't something I want to see. Golovkin is the better fighter of the two, and has proven it. Regardless of what the judges say.

Golovkin could probably knock out Canelo, and they'd DQ him.

GGG said on video that he wasn't interested in facing Andrade. He said he was after legacy fights or big money bouts.

Yeah. True. It won't mean anything if Canelo beats a more older version of GGG. Then who should fight GGG next? I mean besides Andrade-Sulecki winner there are no other decent plausible DAZN fights for GGG at 160 lbs.

For a past of his prime 35-37 y/o man GGG was doing pretty well against a prime 26-28 y/o Canelo. :box:

I'll never stop calling it the way I saw it. GGG won the first fight 116-112 and the 2nd fight 115-113. The scorecards in both bouts show that he couldn't have won regardless of how well he'd performed save for a KO.

It sounds like Canelo is in negotiations with Kovalev. I would like to see Golovkin end Andrade hype.

Yeah, going for the old dog looks like Canelo's style. Why not Callum Smith or Gvozdyk ?

First let's see how Andrade looks vs Sulecki.

That's why Canelo waited for GGG a few years to slowdown a little.

Oh yeah, climbing up 15 pounds to fight Krusher makes makes Canelo a pussy ass bitch.

Every one would be eager to do that, including Greedy Golovkin.

Unless of course, you're being facetious.

Latest words anyways, has Canelo considering Smith in December, not Kovalev.

Kovalev wouldn't be on the radar until CA cleans outs the middleweights.

Or to toss you skeptics your security blanket bone: Canelo won't fight Kovalev until Krusher has gotten a little older.

We all know that Canelo approaches every fighter that way. Amazing he ever fights considering how much time he spends just waiting for others to become geriatrics

I really do hope Anthony Yarde is paid to step aside to allow Canelo to challenge for Sergey Kovalev's WBO light heavyweight title.

The young Mexican should be able to beat the veteran version of the Krusher.

I'd personally prefer to see that bout rather than a third fight between Canelo and Golovkin.

What would GGG do in the meantime? There aren't many big fights out there and the Kazakh would be ridiculed if he chooses to engage in another "Steve Rolls" "Vanes Martirosyan" style mismatch against the likes of Hassan N'Dam, Kamil Szeremeta, Brandon Adams or John Ryder, which were all names he was previously linked to.

It's time for Gennadiy to earn his DAZN mega-money and face someone decent, such as Callum Smith, Danny Jacobs, Demetrius Andrade etc.

Kovalev is 36 y/o. He's old, man. He's just a good trophy with a belt for Canelo (28y/o). Callum is 29, Gvozdyk is 32 and Bivol is 28. Not saying that Kova would be a bad opponent but if you want to prove your greatness then go for the young champions of a division. :box:

Apart from GGG, what commercially bigger fights can be made for Canelo, other than the Kovalev bout?

Good fights for GGG but he said he doesn't want to rematch Jacobs and fight Andrade. But probably his employer will decide that.

I'd love to see Ward coming from his retirement and put on a boxing clinic on that cinnamonboy. :OhYes:

Yep, I am sure that DAZN as a real employer has a strong say in who Canelo and GGG fight. If Canelo doesn't go after Andrade's belt, then they will likely want GGG to fight the hype job.

It would never happen.

Ward too big. Too old. Too rusted.

Cinnamonboy (what kind of schoolyard slur is that?) would slap Ward silly. He's no heartless Kovalev.

We will see Golovkin v Canelo 3 for sure but perhaps Alvarez is hoping to delay it another year for personal reasons eg knee issues, enjoying a decent testing free period, another year on GGGs clock. As he is the only one stopping it the pressures on him to sign will be huge.

So yes, Canelo might well stick to the Mayweather strategy of fightng big names on the descent and go after Kovalev next, a good a time as any, but the GGG fight isn't going away.

Ideally it needs to happen next, not 5th May
2020! As things stand, the Kovalev fight is the easier option for Canelo, no doubt.

Yet another points win in the bag beforehand.

SenoraPipina is just saying that Kovalev is hartless. This hartless Kovalev may be Canelo's next opponent. lol
