Doubtful he'd KO Smith. I think he'd beat him though.

116-112 Canelo as I recall. Maybe 117-111. His body shots were the most effective punches from either fighter, and he was consistently landing them with a lot of force throughout the bout.

I could see a points win too. Either way.

I'm not a huge Smith fan but he's tougher than a lot of people think. I think he can take Alvarez's shots fairly comfortably

Honestly, I can not remember the fight clearly, the only thing I am sure about this fight - it has been a close and a little bit boring................

He's definitely a tough fighter. I wouldn't be shocked if Callum pulls it off, I just figure Alvarez is a bit better. I do expect a competitive bout though certainly regardless of who takes it.

I'll tell you one that was mystifying to me. I remember there was a slight controversy from some after Canelo vs Cotto. I never got that at all. That fight wasn't even close in the slightest. It was a tedious boxing match, but it was all Canelo to me.

Canelo next fight will be vs Kovalev or Andrade

It's pretty obvious.

People can think what they want, Canelo won the second fight vs GGG and destroyed his ugly face.

Nobody said anything negative of GGG.

This dude has a mediocre defense, he can't work the body of his elite rivals (Jacobs and Canelo).

People said he was like a Chávez in 160 but he is too fu.cking inferior and does not know how to close the ring

Let's put it another way.

Who is the best fighter Alvarez has stopped?

Cintron?
Khan?
Baldomir?
Kirkland?

He never stops the top class fighters he faces.

Destroyed his face?

What the f*ck are you talking about?

Neither of them were exactly a face you could put on Fangoria magazine after either of those bouts.

Best he's stopped is probably Khan, but stopping Baldomir might've been one of his better statements as Baldomir had usually been an iron chinned kinda guy who was VERY hard to hurt.

Yeah I think Baldomir is his best stoppage on balance.

Who is the best fight Golovkin has stopped?

Gabe Rosado?

And he is a monster puncher lol

Canelo is a boxer, and he could not stop Golovkin but destroyed his body and destroyed his face

Lemieux or Murray would be his best stoppages I'd say.

Nobody's face was destroyed in either of those bouts. Don't know what you're referring to with those comments, but you just sound like an idiot because we all have eyes, and have seen a destroyed face before.

The same guy that Marco Rubio iced in his hometown and Murray, a decent fighter...

Wow...

Canelo landed better punches in the rematch and destroyed the face of GGG

Thats the reason why the coward fighter from Kazajistán went down the ring suddenly and did not want to give us a interview in the ring, like a man

Abel Sánchez told GGG "we are losing the fight" at round 8... but yeah, it was a robbery

Lol

It does not care what the haters think or say in internet, GGG lost, period

And it would be worst in the third fight next year

I think Golovkin hit a bit harder than Alvarez at his peak.

But my point wasn't anything to do with Golovkin. Not every Alvarez comment needs to be linked to Golovkin (or vice versa).

I agree with you that Canelo will likely win the 3rd fight controversy free. Due to GGG's advanced age more than anything else.

Nobody's face was destroyed in either of those bouts, and you still sound like an idiot.

He left the ring because he felt he was robbed...again. Nobody feels like chatting up the media after that.

Take care of your words, you sound like an idiot.

Robbed? When your fu.cking trainer said to you that you are losing the fight in 8th round and the rest of the fight was too close, you can't said they robbed you.

He left the ring because it would be very funny watch GGG crying about robbery with his face swolen and destroyed

Period.

And canelo destroyed his face.

Márquez was 40 years when he iced Pacquiao and Márquez had a harder career than Golovkin and Pacquiao was better than Canelo
But well, Márquez was better than GGG.

GGG career was too soft, only two good rivals, the rest were mediocre opposition.

Thats the truth.

Let's see a picture of this "destroyed" face. Go ahead. You won't have the guts to post a picture of his face because you know good and goddamn well it wasn't destroyed.

Mouth with blood, nose with blood, Marks in all the face.

And he took 40 sick body shots...

Canelo was in a party that nigh and fought 3 months later vs a natural 168 fighter

Golovkin last 9 months without fight and then faced the #79 in the division

But but but the age...

Pacquiao was iced and fought in similar months against a better fighter than Rolls (Ríos).

Golovkin took a lot of punishment but you will Deny this, bye...

The damage is essentially equal. That's not a destroyed face. They're both cut, both bruised.

This is what a destroyed face looks like. An extreme example, granted, but...
