Lightweights: Pernell Whitaker vs Ray Mancini

Post by scorpio83 »

At their best at lightweight in the 15 round limit, Sweet Pea would his quickness and speed to outbox Mancini with counters to easily take a decision. What do you guys think?

This is the biggest shutout I can picture.
Whitaker would either spread Mancini's face to pieces with his speed and accuracy
Or would outpoint him in a huge mismatch

NOT EVEN COMPETITIVE

Sounds about right, and the rounds Whitaker would lose would be the ones where he was doing his kinda showboaty, clowning around schtick to have a little fun, and catch his breath. Any of the rounds where he was really working his skills to the utmost he'd win handily.

I won't favor anybody over Whitaker at 135 or the most close weights, except Duran.
