I thought Parker won that fight. Had it not been in Greenwich, the scoring would have been the other way.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑29 Jun 2019, 11:41 Of course. Typical stuff.
You could even say Whyte went life and death with Parker too. Very close fight that could have easily ended a draw or a 12th round stoppage win for Parker.
Would Joshua vs Whyte II be 50/50 fight?

True that.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑29 Jun 2019, 11:46 Even then, that the 2nd round KD not been given it would have ended a draw.
Re: Would Joshua vs Whyte II be 50/50 fight?
imo you have to be very generous to parker to score that fight for him. he spent too many rounds being hesistant and getting roughed

I disagree, Whyte has improved so it would be a 50/50 IMO. I can see Whyte winning too.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑28 Jun 2019, 15:00 No, Joshua fvcks him up, exactly the same as the first fight. Both haven’t really improved, so not sure why a different outcome would be expected.

Upon re watching, Whyte def beat Parker. Parker almost had him out on his feet at the end. I'd like to see a rematch.

I think th clash of heads in round 2 scrambled his senses for 5-6 rounds.
He was easily dealing with Whyte in the first and second round upto that point
Re: Would Joshua vs Whyte II be 50/50 fight?
Yes, it will have hardened him and boosted his confidence. Not that he seemed short of it before.

Yes, I’m not a fan personally. I don’t mind the geezer but he’s not my favorite. I do rate him as a fighter though. I really think he loves a good scrap.
