Tbh it was a lackluster type of performance vs Adams but Charlo won fair and square. Now that Charlo got what he wanted, he's gonna keep that belt safe or dare to unify it? But since he is with pbc maybe he's gonna hide under the ol' good excuse of being with a different boxing platform and b/c of the boxing politics some top fights ain't gonna happen too soon?
wbc ratings:
Saul Alvarez ('franchise' champ) lol
Jermall Charlo (champion)
1. Gennady Golovkin
2. Daniel Jacobs
3. Kamil Szeremeta
4. Sergey Derevyanchenko
5. Jason Quigley
6. Steven Butler
7. Esquivia Falcao
8. Luis Arias
9. Hassan N'Dam
11. Jack Culcay
12. Brandon Adams
13. Matt Korobov
14. Immanuwel Aleem
15. Steve Rolls
Now if we look at the wbc ratings we see that the top mw fighters are there but besides Derevyanchenko and Szeremeta, the best of them are tied with dazn. Anyway imo Derevyanchenko and Szeremeta would be good matches for Charlo if they happen. If not, we should expect to see opponents like Hassan, Arias, Culcay, Butler and Qquigley to keep busy Charlo.
Jermall Charlo -now that he got that green title, he'd keep it safe or try to unify it?

I wonder how many optional defenses could Charlo get?
