Was this fight not a RTD since the corner threw in the towel? Says TKO here on boxrec.

RTD is used for stoppage in between rounds, or right after bell rings, but no action... Either referee waves it off after bell, or a ceremonial count is issued. If a towel is thrown into the ring DURING a round = TKO.
