IMO Qawi would stop Jones in 10-11 .

Pre Ruiz I think the ultra elusive version of Jones wins on points, after Qawi KOs him at some point

Lower weight version of Ali/Frazier!
Re: Light Heavyweights : Dwight Qawi vs. Roy Jones jr
Jones would outbox Qawi, although Qawi would give him a tough fight.
Re: Light Heavyweights : Dwight Qawi vs. Roy Jones jr
Good match up and tough to pick. I go with Qawi, based on one fight that serves as a blueprint: Jones' first match with Montell Griffin. The latter was short and tricky, just like Qawi. He gave Jones fits for most of the fight. And yes, I know what happened to Griffin in both fights but I think it's safe to say Qawi would hold up better than Griffin did when Jones brought the heat.

Prime vs Prime, Roy wins a wide points decision IMO. In his prime, Roy would be an exceptionally difficult proposition for anyone.
Re: Light Heavyweights : Dwight Qawi vs. Roy Jones jr
Imo, Roy Jones Jr. would use his quickness and speed to score quick jabs and combinations to take a 15 round decision, but Qawi would put on the better performance than Montell Griffin did against Jones in their first fight.

I agree. I didn’t dislike Qawi, but he beat one of my heroes in Saad. But I liked his style and he is an all time great. But a prime Jones was something to behold. I don’t think he stops Dwight but he wins a fairly wide decision

I'd love to see Jones try and pull his "RJ" alter ego garbage with Qawi.
