Juan Francisco Estrada has signed a promotional deal with Matchroom Boxing USA and Zanfer Promotions.

Estrada (39-3 26 KOs) came out on top in an epic rematch with Srisaket Sor Rungvisai in April at The Forum in LA, regaining the WBC Super-Flyweight title and adding the Ring Magazine strap in the same venue the pair served up a classic first battle in February 2018.

The Mexican pound-for-pound star and former unified Flyweight king will announce a defense of his titles next week as he aims to unify at 115lbs, and the 29 year old is delighted to be teaming up with Matchroom Boxing and Eddie Hearn, and plotting his path to pick up more titles live on DAZN.

“I’m very excited to be fighting again on DAZN where I won the WBC title,” said Estrada. “I look forward to defending my title for Mexico and for all my fans and hopefully I can soon unify titles with the other champions of the division.
“I’m very motivated being champion once again and I’m ready to show that I’m a champion to be reckoned with.”

“I’m delighted to welcome pound-for-pound star Juan Estrada to the team,” said promoter Eddie Hearn. “We have been working closely with Zanfer over the last year and this is an exciting addition to DAZN.

“Estrada was outstanding in capturing the WBC and Ring Magazine belts in LA in April and looks now to move on and unify the division. We look forward to a long and successful partnership.”

Juan Francisco Estrada vs. Dewayne Beamon Clash in Play

American contender Dewayne Beamon, who has a record of 16-1-1 and 11 knockouts, leads the list of possible opponents for Juan Francisco 'Gallo' Estrada, according to ESPN Deportes.

Estrada is scheduled to return to the ring in his Matchroom Sport debut on August 24 at the Multipurpose Center of Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.

Estrada, in his first defense of the super flyweight title of the World Boxing Council, will try to set a new attendance record at the Hermosillo based venue - which registered 10 thousand attendees on March 8, 1991, when the popular Jorge ' Maromero 'Paez collided with Jorge' Cocas' Ramirez.

Only a few details are missing for the possible announcement of the fight, which at some point was being pondered to take place in Mexico City, but in the end it was decided to present the Estrada in his native Sonora, something that has not happened since 2016, when he defeated Raymond Tabugon in Puerto Penasco.

The recent co-promotional deal with Zanfer Promotions and Matchroom will allow him to take his fights to the DAZN platform in the United States and to Great Britain through Sky Sports.

For Beamon, whose most recent triumph was in October of last year over Mexican contender Martin Tecuapetla, has been waiting a long time for a big opportunity and it seems that he will finally face Estrada. Beamon already beat contenders Christian Esquivel and Jose Alfredo Rodríguez on his way to the championship, although he also suffered his first setback last year against Tecuapetla in their first fight in Mexico City.
