The Prince now holds the 'vacant Tanzania, Pugilistic Syndicate of Bantamweight Title'

also according to Boxrec his last fight had a first round of over 4 minutes.

Fair play to him I would imagine he is getting a half decent purse for this one.

Not sure a so called 'journalist' should be allowed to speak to fighters like that.

I have no idea what the Prince said/did to piss him off, but I wonder if Kugan would have reacted the same way if he wasn't so much bigger than him.

I find it hard to imagine Kugan having the balls to threaten even a middleweight like that, let alone someone his own size.

Yup. Could be a publicity stunt. But poor stuff from Kugan. Not mention he couldn’t cave in a wet paper bag.

 yea, hanging around with fighters has made him think he is a bad man.

They should make the fight at a catchweight, my money would be on the Prince :box:

Dont know what Patel said, probably something outrageous, but nonetheless, i think Kugan should probably be showing more restraint.

Personally, i think this Patel fella is delusional, and very possibly has underlying mental health issues. He runs his mouth saying delusional stuff, offending many people in the process, and completely alienating himself with the fans and those inside the UK boxing scene. His patter is poor, and he deserves no exposure for it. He probably needs an intervention, sectioned, and not his head caved in by Kugan.

Hmmm, how about a Prince Patel vs Charlie Z bout to settle who deserves the title of most delusional man in boxing? They could fight upstairs in a Hungarian pub, rematch in an LA high school gym, then have the rubber match live on ITV PPV :bag:

That might be the one fight where the majority are rooting for Charlie to win

Charlie Z is a truely fascinating character. Bat sh*t crazy, almost impossible to comprehend what he is about if it were not all documentaded on forums and YouTube over the past 10 years or more. I was there from the get go, when he was harrassing people on here and other forums, and his early YouTube stuff, and i was sure he was a wind up merchant, it tookk some time for me to realise he was nuts. All these years later and he is still going strong. After 200 or 300 random assaults, all on film, i cant believe they dont section him.

Charlie doesn't even win in his random assaults!
Patel, like all prospects, is choosing his fights, padding out his record and is now in a position for a title shot.
You can't compare the two

I don't mind the Prince. He may be a bit of a douche, but he is working to ABC system to his advantage and making enough noise that boxing fans know his name (even if we never see him fight).

Check out Sunny Edwards video on Twitter of Patel’s fight - the opponent is horrific - worst you will ever have seen.

We’d be doing Latvian bin men a dis-service.

I didn't say I like him, just that I don't have strong feelings of hatred towards him like everyone else seems to.

As the kids might say 'don't hate the player, hate the game'

The Prince loves himself but hasn't posted on here in ages to gives his thoughts and how he thinks he is progressing.

Can't wait to see him fight someone with a genuine record and heartbeat. He's gonna get a shock.

While he can fight a bit boxing fakers isn't helping your progression really as all these fights are just like a little warm up spar against the gym juniors.
