Glenn looks so much better with a beard
Re: Boxing on Freesports in July
Yeah, kind of suits him.
I had to double tack to see if it was him at first.

I'll probably have two or three with the women's footie tomorrow.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑05 Jul 2019, 16:05Same here. I do have a bottle of whisky in the house though, reckon I’ll have a cheeky glass later![]()

Frank not defending his Commonwealth now, fighting another Tanzanian now in John Chuwa who has points losses to Patel and Ross Murray, probably not much difference in level to Kibazange, still wouldve liked to have seen the title in the line

I watched McCrory's fight with Lewis a few weeks ago and he was rocking a beard that night as well

Re: Boxing on Freesports in July
Even though it was all pretty much one way traffic I initially thought the ref was a bit quick to wave it off but watching the finish again it looked bang on, it was the first left hook from Frank which hurt Chuwa and the right hand to send him down just cemented it, Chuwa was awkward as hell, insanely unorthodox and jerky, Frank struggled to land clean a lot of the time, there was a lot of shots that Chuwa took the sting out of with his backpedalling. even the knockdown in the 3rd Frank just seemed to uppercut him down on to the bottom rope
Chuwa actually did land a couple of cute shots during the fight and tried to box with Frank at times, there was a couple of occasions where Chuwa pivoted to Frank's left hand side and tag him with the right hand, I thought that was pretty sweet, his footwork and balance in general were horrendous though, all in all though Frank pressured stalked and landed the better punches, the finish was nice as well

Chuwa could barely stand up could he, essentially off balance for the entire fight bar the first 1/2 rounds. Frank looks solid at the weight and did what he had to do, interested to see what's next for him.
