Tyson Fury Vs (some yank)

Post by KiwiRider »

So... Fwankie says an American next for Tyson in September.
If it ain't Miller, it ain't worth watching. September is when Miller's ban is lifted- so that makes sense.
AJ Vs Miller was an "OK" fight, Fury Vs Miller not so much.
Other than Miller (and Wilder is prebooked Vs Ortiz) who else is there?
Slim pickings I'm afraid.
Could it be an even worse mismatch than that German bloke?
If it ain't Miller, it will be :verysad:

Thoughts?

Yeah, Hunter could be in the mix. He would be pretty small next to Tyson. And I would not be paying for that :shame:
In fact, anyone American apart from Miller ain't getting my hard earned cash.

Fury won't fight anyone good. More Schwarzing around I suspect.

They ain't risking anything til the rematch or Joshua back in the UK if he gets a belt back.

As much as I don't like the idea of the big cheat getting a big fight so soon, as a fan, I'd love to see it! :OhYes:

Miller was pretty terrible even on the juice. I can't even imagine how bad he would be now. So he's definitely Fury's next opponent. Strike while the iron is hot. Then when Miller starts to lose consistently. Fury can claim to have "ruined" him.

Miller should have been given a 3 year ban minimum.

I agree. Part of me says ban him for longer, the other part says let him get beat. He was always going to lose against the top 3 anyway- juice or no juice.
I see Miller's future about the same as Washington and Martin anyway. As in; he gets a title chance, gets exposed, and slowly drifts down the rankings.
Sure he is slightly better than the two I mentioned, but not by much.

I think he's a good bit better than both to be honest. Of course that's a pretty low bar, but still, I'd say he'd beat them both handily.

Miller and Hunter are good options and the only good options indeed. Well, except Ruiz, of course, but Ruiz is more likely to fight in a Joshua rematch next. Breazeale sounds decent too, but he won't fight that fast against the top guy after being KTFOed. I guess, they'll put against Fury some Molina of Kauffman.

Won't be anyone dangerous, they'll choose an easy opponent to make money whilst waiting for a big fight like the wilder rematch.

2x

The talk from Fwank is setting up the pathway for him to fight another bum, "has to be an American to help build his profile in the states". That would make sense if there was anyone decent for him to fight with USA heritage, but outside of Wilder or Ruiz, there is nobody. I dont think Miller would not be that an entertaining fight, but is probably the best of the rest, and outside of him, its a poor lineup. Fwank was always good at putting his cash cows in against stiffs, padding out the record and the bank account. Nothing has changed then.

There are many names out there he could fight, is there really any excuse for fighting a bum? Its a choice not to fight Wilder, Joshua, Ruiz, Whyte, Povetkin, Ortiz. Those fights can be made, but the camp most likely want to string things out with some easy money fights.

This Bryan probably fits the bill, undefeated yank and looks quite slow, but i wont
be surprised if they bring out Stiverne FFS.

Old Bob recons Miller doesn't have a sh*t show of being licenced (in New York at least) to fight Fury this year.
