This is just silly- you see on Brec boxers listed as suspended in the USA fight in other parts of the world quite often and their results are not affected.

Well, as for the suspensions, if a fighter is suspended to fight in the USA, then, that means exactly that. So, why should such a fighter not compete in Mexico, for example, until his suspension in the USA is over? :TU:

Normally, the commissions might overturn a result to NC. But a fight might also be a NC/ND from the beginning, for various reasons... :TU:

Isn't that bizzare?
I understand there are some rules... but I find it hard to believe that Joyce is first fighter in that situation to have his fight ruled no contest?
Isn't it a bit like Haye vs Chisora - which was ultimately accepted by boxrec?

True. They boxed under Luxemburg. Maybe it depends where the fight is.

I think Haye and Chisora were banned - or at least not sanctioned by U.K commision - and Frank made that "slick" move to get through with a fight around BBBofC...

Is that situation different? I understand that Joyce was under suspention of British commision - but wasn't He fighting under license of local commision in Saudi and Kazakhstan? Or I don't know - U.K or Irish license?

Just curious how it all works - because I'm pretty sure other fighters were also fighting abroad while under suspensition in some commisions - and there's not that many N/C results on boxrec for fights that took place and were fought to conclusive result.
