it would be entertaining no doubt. I think that if Kownacki fought Joshua that night, he would win as well. Imo he punches harder than Ruiz, throws slighty more punches, but Ruiz has superior footwork, slighty faster hands and better defence, better technical skills. I'd say it's 50/50, i would have favoured Kownacki before, now i'd rather say that Ruiz would win by 116-112, 115-113 type of decision.
You can almost be guaranteed of that. That's the case with most fights. Kownascki is just a flavor of the month. A white guy with an entertaining persona and an attention getting doughy build. And he can whack a little.
But he'll fall apart when he actually fights a true world class opponent.
Ruiz would punish him badly.
