That’s silly obviously, but he IS good.
Why you so down on him and how far do think he’ll go ?

He’s gonna pick up an Alphabet title at some point in his career surely ?
He's garbage, poor accuracy, doesn't punch in combos and awful power. Going nowhere.

Early finish for Williams! Achour was all over the place, good stoppage.

Good win but Karim Achour wasn't in shape at all.

Any world title challenger gets a medal too. It’s pretty neat. WBC definately do the most of the orgs.

THE VACANT WBC SILVER MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

12 X 3 Minute Rounds @ 160 lbs
Liam Williams W rsc 1.51 R2 Karim Achour

Wiliams largely bossed the first but Achour, not stopped before, did not allow himself to be bullied and kept the three minutes devoid of decisive action. Some big rights blasted through the guard in the second, before a right and then a left put Achour down, where he found himself again moments later and it was all over. The Machine was in mean mode again.

Dunno mate, Jennings has never liked pressure & I know Joyce fights like a zombie who's attending his first ever boxing lesson but I can't help but think Joe's gonna roll right over him. Jennings might be able to bounce around for a couple of rounds before it happens but ultimately he's going to be overwhelmed, IMO.

I remember Jennings (when he was much fresher, pre-getting wrecked by a juiced-to-the-gills Ortiz) having to go to the well to get Szpilka out of there late.

It's a shame, really, 'cos if anyone ever did a poll of "Who's your favourite former Gridiron player turned mediocre heavyweight?", then Jennings would probably get my vote, but still.

Mmmm, I used to be a big Williams fan as he’s pretty local, but must say his current setup doesn’t sit quite right with me
