Dubois is more talented and so he will likely win, but Gorman is tough so I imagine it will be a good fight.

I still want Dubois to win this, preferring his active style, but I must give full respect to Gorman for his clearheadedness leading up to this intriguing encounter.

It could go so many ways but my head is saying that Gorman will take it on points.

Surprise me Danny.

Whomever has the greater will, and greater chin, should win this. They're both essentially punchers.

i think that Daniel ''the bum beater'' Dubois will finally get exposed. he's robotical, he has nothing but power punching (which is not going to be that impressive on the higher level). zero defence.

The straight right usually beats the wild looping left hook: Gorman...

Gorman is a bum, and Dubois is just a better bum. Punchers are NEVER world beaters. When will they learn?

Wow. Not even close. Gorman needs a jab. Very one sided.

What fight were YOU watching?

Dubois is clearly the better boxer. It is Gorman who is the crude brawler and he obviously didnt belong in the ring with Dubois. DDD showed great patience in using his boxing skills instead of punching himself out and the KO came.

His defence should be better, he used to be open, and better opponent than Gorman would utilise that.
But, he is very strong and powerful, absolutely...........
Chin ? Stamina ? I hope it will be known soon............

Dubois shocked me. He still has flaws, but he’s a heavy-handed physical specimen that has an abundance of time to learn his trade. And let’s face it, he obviously has a lot to learn, but also has a lot of potential.

Dubois has shown a lot of poise in previous fights, a good jab and a control of the distance. He seems far smoother than others of his build. He has a lot of promise.

Daniel Dubois looks like he'll be a top heavyweight contender.

Joyce, in contrast, didn't impress me, I doubt he'll go far.

Right now, it would be very dangerous for him to face a decent counter-puncher. He has to improve his defence, surely.

I do not know where that’s coming from. Gorman hardly did enough to expose a leaky defence. It’s boxing, you get hit, especially if you are going on the attack and initiating the exchanges.

Of course I’m not saying he’s a perfect fighter but lack of defence wasn’t on display here in my opinion.

I know we cannot make too much out of their performances today (because Gorman is nowhere near as good as Jennings) but I think Dubois is getting very close to the point where he can matchup well with the likes of Joe Joyce. But considering the fact that Dubois is only 21, there is no need to rush him up the competitive ladder too quickly.
