Either or, you UK Britard! (I kid because I love)
Re: delayed Live Boxing from the US
Its not a big issue fellas, I get a little annoyed sometimes when those hidden folks who just roam the boards but have a dig at people who actually do something for the forum.
The boxing was live but delayed, thats what streaming is too, its not live even though its live so to speak, streaming is off about 30 seconds to a minute but who gives a shit except those who want to impress their mrs
I sometimes get this on the golf course on a hole thats close to the road, you sometimes get the odd driver whos got a bird sat next to him and actually think its impressive to her to shout out of the window 'fore!' He has a giggle in front of his bird and must think 'god she loves me for that', infact shes proberly thinking 'dickhead'

Hidden? Say what? I’ve been here 11 years. I post. I chat. I engage. I sometimes do a bit of wind up banter and dry joking. But I take part in discussions.MasterG wrote: ↑14 Jul 2019, 16:54 Its not a big issue fellas, I get a little annoyed sometimes when those hidden folks who just roam the boards but have a dig at people who actually do something for the forum.

I picked up on something you said in a pisstakey way. Damn man you need to chill the hell out.
Re: delayed Live Boxing from the US
delayed, live, delayed live, replayed, whatever, ill take it mate, thx for the link
Re: delayed Live Boxing from the US
Apologies if this has already been asked but wtf does 'delayed live' mean?
Re: delayed Live Boxing from the US
Seriously though mate, isn't every single archive clip of any event technically "live" at some point, but as being watched later now "delayed"?
As said by others, thanks for sharing the link, and just chill out a touch
Re: delayed Live Boxing from the US
I see what you are saying but when you are streaming anything live the footage isn't 'live' as in happening as you see it. I've watched 'live' football via streaming on a match day and my lad has ring me saying 'what a goal' but my footage hasn't yet got to that part. Then 30 seconds later boom. So I'm watching an event that's actually happening but I'm watching it 'delayed'
Archive footage may have been recorded live but is no longer live in terms of it still happening so I wouldn't class it as delayed.
My video may have been still happening but a few hours behind the actual event this myself calling it delayed live action.
I have no issue with banter but I wouldn't mock people when they are doing something for the benefit of others. I came across that live event and my immediate thought was to share it on here for others to watch. I wouldn't be perdantic to click on it and mock the poster for doing something for the benefit of others or create a reply that would ignite the touch paper as this has done.
I'm not offended but see this far too often in today's society.

I delayed my intention to watch the live version live and watched the delayed version live instead but on a delayed coverage the next morning after i had recorded it live on a delay, hope that's cleared that up
Re: delayed Live Boxing from the US
I was taking the p!ss, as I often do, and as this forum I think is famed for (light hearted ribbing), but honestly, as you have not at all taken it in the spirit I intended, and I have caused you annoyance, I genuinely apologise and will try to remember in future to not use joke and wind up comments with youMasterG wrote: ↑15 Jul 2019, 04:30I see what you are saying but when you are streaming anything live the footage isn't 'live' as in happening as you see it.
