Um... As a headline event, perhaps not.

But what has been recently?

Adding
Chisora v Spilzka
Allen v Price
Gives it quite good value.
I would argue that it’s the best value ppv this year on paper (ok Joshua -Ruiz turned out very well with the shock and Taylor - persoon) but you only need to compare it with fury - Schwarz and that card to know that it could be a lot worse. 3 heavyweight punch ups and 2 domestic 50-50s all it needed was a good opponent for okolie but unfortunately this Argentine is awful

Thought Whyte was losing the Chisora rematch before pulling out a highlight reel finish, Chisora had a couple of points off but I still had him edging things, Whyte was a lot more conservative than i'd seen him recently he clearly tried to box Chisora but found himself being outhustled, still a stunning KO from Whyte to end things

I think this will be a good fight, never PPV but thank fvck for Kodi coz i'll not be paying, Rivas looks a bit slow but works the body well, Whyte needs to be more aggressive than last time, I think he'll win on points close but comfortble
I watched that fight on allegedly Rivas was following Jennings around the ring. If he performs like that against Whyte he will get stopped but there were glimpses that convince me he will put up a decent fight. Hope so

Is it me or does Whyte always have this quizical look on his face...

I've never been sold on Whyte, but then I am not sold on any heavyweight actually currently - so this fight is intriguing.

The World Boxing Council and Matchroom Boxing are delighted to confirm that Saturday’s bout between Dillian Whyte and Oscar Rivas at The O2 in London, shown live on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK and DAZN in the US, will be contested for the WBC Interim World Heavyweight Championship.

Would be funny now if Whyte loses..

Wardley & 1 other HW fight are the 2 Facebook early fights before its goes on Sky PPV. Can’t remember other guys name but he’s signed with Whyte/Brother management.

You guys are really smoking the good stuff, Szpilka and Price, two guys who get knocked out by a stiff breeze and don't have a win above Euro level, and Charlie fornicating Duffield a guy I saw get battered by a journeyman kickboxer make this "good value" for PPV?? why not just give your money to me instead

Rivas is a cumbersome plodding brawler who is rated because of one good round against a top 10 fighter, come the fornicate on lads, wow, he was a decent amatuer 15 years ago, take my 20 quid!!

I agree except for your take on Rivas. He can box and swat. A lot of output most of the time. He's hardly a "plodder."

He is deliberate and cumbersome from what I've seen, throws in twos, one setup punch with a hard one behind it, doesn't do a lot other than that, plods forward slowly, no feet, he's not difficult to figure out

Might I suggest watching his "highlights" on youtube. I know he's not well known and going strictly on the Jennings fight doesn't do much for him in terms of his skill set and ability to show his stuff.

Yes & Jennings isn’t exactly a mug and not the easiest fighter to look good against.

 nice one.
Ive seen a little of Rivas because I'm getting the PPV so I thought I may as well.
From what I've seen, he actually should be entertaining in this one. I've no idea what his chin is like- unproven is all I could come up with at this point. If his chin holds up, I think the fight will be a good watch just in case Allen Price finishes early.

Yeah I'm stoked for this fight. It will be a good fight. A real good fight. And you KNOW that Allen/Price is a five rounder. :OhYes:
