Still haven't heard anything more about Muttley, injured or not? But think it's significant that none of his crew have been on to deny it though!?

Good to hear this potential barn stormer is still on, it should be some night, going by the sounds coming from both sets of supporters on the net - an all too rare 50/50 affair.

Have to admit I've only seen a few of each fighter, but in an even looking fight between two good prospects, I'd give the edge to Anderson - though home ground could make a difference..He was very impressive dealing with that tough African recently.

I'll go for Anderson to out work Muttley down the stretch for a points win.

This is a wonderful British title fight. Two real bangers, who have so much more to their game as well.

It's a can't-miss classic.

I tip Anderson to win.

just read Tom Podmore report http://www.britishboxing.net/news_1496- ... p-dog.html

Came across this point.... Twenty-two year old Anderson of Fife, Scotland has never fought outside of his home country as a professional, will this effect him? Some fighters do not like to travel, but in this case he doesn't seem perturbed by the prospect of fighting in “the lions den”, and will be bringing 100 of his own supporters, in the 2000 capacity, Aston Villa leisure centre.

Anderson has boxed in england 9 times this is more than he has boxed in scotland

So Where Podmore getting his infomation from :-?

Sorry about that.

I put my hands up, on the mistake.

I honestly must have had a "blind moment".

Apologies again!

no probs tom

will you be at ringside?

Anderson is a tough young lad with his whole career in front of him and I think this fight will be a cracking achievment (when he wins of course) and a great launch pad on to bigger things.

If you get the chance to interview Kev can you say the lads all sain congrats for a great win :)

I can't wait for this fight. It was good enough when it was announced, but with all the banter on the forum, it's become unmissable. It seems we have the Brummie Ray Robinson against the welterweight Ken Buchanan!

Seriously, I can't wait, it should be a cracker. I think Anderson on points, but I wouldn't put any money on it at all. Great Thursday night action, and a good one for boxing. I live in Northants, and already my local is hyped up for watching it, because I've been bugging everyone I know about how it'll be well worth a "school night" in the pub. I hope it's a good one now, of course......

Good fight, but I was fornicating gutted at the result. I was screaming for Lee to take a knee and regroup in the 10th. Fair play to Anderson he took some massive shots, he was out on his feet for a few rounds. looking forward to seeing Lee back in action, hopefully in a rematch with Anderson

I hears there was abit of crowd trouble last night, true?

It was six of one and half a dozen of the other - I saw what happened and no side can lay blame with any authority.
