Didn’t Lee Selby have an opponent who failed an HIV test? Or am I imagining that?
Edit: Just Googled it, the guy was suspected of hepatitis, not HIV.

The AIDS test is a part of your yearly medical. Not sure about imports, normally their local license is enough if it is accredited.

I recall a commonwealth title challenger I think he was fighting Lee McAllister who had failed a test for HIV or hepatitis.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑22 Jul 2019, 15:07 Didn’t Lee Selby have an opponent who failed an HIV test? Or am I imagining that?

dave allen is the worst type of fighter for brain health.....excellent chin and horrible defense. guys like whyte, ortiz, and pricey can whack. and allen took loads of them , plus yoka. hes young but cant be good for the brain,
retirment is absolutely what he should be looking at if his health is already going downhill
if somehow his brains okay, and he can return, absolutely stick him in with other brawlers like lucas browne. pricey may be vulnerable but that is still simply far too much skill for allen. allen can get in whatever shape he wants but he simply was not cute out to be anything more then a game, durable, but clearly limited guy

They say that as many of a 3rd have it in some parts of Africa, more likely in the poore areas, and boxers tend to be poorer.

Honestly mate, wtf?
Did you just cut illness and disease names out of a book, throw them into a hat and pull one out and decide it must be what Allen has?
Weird af

Apparently Freddie Mercury was a decorated boxer back in the day. He allegedly sparred a likeable Yorkshire based heavyweight in the mid 80s too.
Waaaait a minute!?!?

Morrison was tested in Vegas before the Foreman fight and, evidently, was HIV negative.
Also, AIDs is the end stage of HIV. The idea that Morrison boxed his whole career deathly ill and without an immune system is absurd. There is an argument that your posts have AIDs, however.
