Why is this page not properly 'linked' to the WIKI pages like all other fighters from every accessible means?
http://www.boxrec.com/media/index.php/Bert_Gilroy
missing link...
The page is only accessible through the boxrec 'search' option, but if you go to rating's for example-and there are 4 different channels from there (Brit, Euro, Commonwealth & World) sections, the Wiki doesn't show, yet it does for the other fighters.
And likewise from Google or other search engines it also doesn't take you to the Wiki page, yet it does for the other fighters (?).

Where do you see the Wiki book in the ratings? I don't see it on any page for any figher, Gilroy is not being treated any differently than anyone else from what I see.
BoxRec has nothing to do with the google rating. If people start linking to that page on other sites, then it will raise the profile.

No, No, No, I think you've completely misunderstood...
If I go to BoxRec's Ratings and pull up ANY division-Current or All-time and then if I click on a fighters record, "IF" that fighter's got a 'wiki' book, it's opened and accessible, but Gilroy's isn't (?), unless you use the BoxRec 'seach'...
As for Google or other seach engines, if I type in Marcel Cerdan for example, one of the 'listings' will be his BoxRec record-with the Wiki book opened as is the case for loads of fights, but when you do the same for Bert it's closed (?).

That's it "cheers" tegenm,
when I look at fighter's records no matter where I pull them up from; 'ratings', links people put up in a thread, or right from a list off of a search engine (Google, Yahoo and the like), I 'cross' reference fighter's records so much, this is how I noticed!
Cheers again tegenm, here's the proper link, http://www.boxrec.com/media/index.php?t ... roy:010247
