Dillian Whyte Tests Positive For Banned Substance
Re: Dillian Whyte Tests Positive For Banned Substance
I'm not a fan of Whyte but I hope his B sample comes back negative. Boxing needs more doping scandals like a hole in the head.

Hopefully not true but no response on social media from Whyte or his brother that I can see which suggests something is going on behind the scenes. Crazy if true.

Ignoring the fact that Eddie Hearn is a hypocrite shithouse of the highest order, surely the BBOC would have been notified of this test failure?
If so, wtf are they doing allowing a fight to be allowed to procede knowing one fighter has failed a drugs test? Surely that's grounds for Rivas and his team to sue if so.

Lot of questions to answer, got to see the results of the B sample first but if the BBoC and Hearn allowed the fight to go ahead knowing that he had failed a drugs then they are not fit to govern and Hearn should be stripped of his licence

Re: Dillian Whyte Tests Positive For Banned Substance
Have I got this right: The bbboc licensed the fight knowing he had failed a test (two substances being reported) but legal protocol is the fight was allowed to go ahead until a B sample has been confirmed.
I have to add to what a lot of other people noticed. Whyte was heavy, he had let himself go since the last fight yet produced one of his most energetic performances to date.
I hope this B sample is negative or else it's going to be a shit show for all involved.

exactly, the worst thing about TUEs are the topic is always swerved or never brought up - it is a no go for any interview unsurprisingly !tobyh5 wrote: ↑25 Jul 2019, 03:12I agree 100% and do not understand why they would not be disclosed. If you have a legit reason for taking something, there should be no issue with saying so.kbackup408 wrote: ↑25 Jul 2019, 02:58
I've brought up TUEs numerous times here and I think there is a consensus that if you are in a combat sport and have exemptions they should be openly declared !

Booth hit it right on the head
Re: Dillian Whyte Tests Positive For Banned Substance
If it's true that Rivas wasn't told. Yet the British board and Matchroom both knew. Then that's terrible. At least Rivas could have made an informed decision.
Stories like these will end boxing.
Rivas could get millions if he sues.

Because a lot of folk want to hero worship and their hero’s would never do anything in their power to win
I get it all the time with Tyson fans...he was on taking Valium, weed and cocaine but of course the little darling would never touch PEDs

I think tons of sportsmen and women are on them, especially at elite levels.

It's this is true it's disguting and the whole of the BBBoC should be sacked and sued in to the ground by team Rivas, along with Matchroom as they would've known too

When are we getting that popcorn gif
Re: Dillian Whyte Tests Positive For Banned Substance
Why don't they tell us what the banned substance is?
It's not that bad if it's weed or cocaine is it?

The problem with cleaning up this mess is where to begin? Everyone in power in UK boxing seems to be in on it.

He might as well have said "both fighters were in the ring fighting so they were both in the ring fighting"knockout wrote: ↑24 Jul 2019, 20:03Bit of a politician type statement.. surely “all pre fight test results came back clear “ would have been betterRuthless-RKO wrote: ↑24 Jul 2019, 19:56
Saying they were both clear to fight?
If that’s true, this is typical UKAD. But I don’t believe VADA are like this. They would have informed WBC.
His words say less than nothing. Obviously they were cleared to fight, as we saw them fighting... literally
Sports people are often cleared to compete and caught in drugs tests after
