Re: Michael Buffer
Is there anyone who actually still likes Buffer? This thread is one-sided. I’m a bit surprised.

His brother stated In an interview, that he was a millionaire, but nothing like that order of magnitude.
People go on about him trademarking his catchphrase, but that's just to stop others using it, it's not like people would spend millions to use it in something, why bother?

They won't pay for the rights to it, but it does mean that people who want it to feature have to get Buffer in, so it does have a monetary benefit, probably moreso from the film appearances.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑25 Jul 2019, 09:41His brother stated In an interview, that he was a millionaire, but nothing like that order of magnitude.

Yeh. That’s why he gets roles like in Creed and he’s also used his catchphrase in the New Dumbo live action movie which came out this year.Greg Houston wrote: ↑26 Jul 2019, 04:04They won't pay for the rights to it, but it does mean that people who want it to feature have to get Buffer in, so it does have a monetary benefit, probably moreso from the film appearances.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑25 Jul 2019, 09:41
