The United Kingdom Anti-Doping Agency has removed all British Boxers with present violations from their public sanctions list. UKAD usually have all suspensions listed on their website, but this information has now been redacted (made confidential or censored). Two fighters do remain in the section, although both of them are based outside of Great Britain. Eric Molina is one. Whether it’s a temporary measure is anyone’s guess, but the usual transparency is now bereft from evidence.

I don't really have an opinion on his questions per se, but I did like the fact that he asked the tough questions unlike IFL for instance.

Agreed. IFL etc exist and flourish because they are lickspittles who help build promotions. If they were serious investigative journalists they'd not make a living from boxing.

Good, thorough journalism is on its arse and it's been going that way for 20 years, but that's an issue beyond the scope of this topic.

Yeah amazing that a fighter testing positive would get boxing fans talking about it. We may never know the “full story”

The anti doping and commissions wouldn’t have cleared him to fight if there was any problems , he was cleared to fight so they were happy with all the evidence presented to them that’s how it looks to me

The issue for me though is, wasn't Fury basically cleared to fight Klitschko after failing a test for the fight against Hammer? It wasn't until nearly 2 years later that they actually charged him with a doping offence which then caused the whole legal battle Tyson and Hughie had with UKAD which resulted in backdated 2 year bans nearly 3 years later.

I just want someone, anyone to ask these top British boxers like Joshua, Whyte, Fury etc. "Are you in receipt of any TUE's?" .

It would take literally 2 seconds to ask. Yet no one ever has.

There's been examples where that has happened, Morales vs Garcia 2 being the most obvious

The interviewer pushed him but not quite the points I wanted pushing. Too much focus on "Why did you not tell Rivas" rather than the crux of the whole thing - Did a drug test show Dillian Whyte had a PED in his system? What was the substance? How do you explain its presence?

I think if you sift through the interview, you can see glimpses of the defence used to be cleared to fight, and the defence moving forward -
  • DW paid for VADA himself (which they think means he would not cheat if forking out £40k, which is bollox because it would not stop them thinking they can cycle around this)
  • DW passed VADA tests on other dates (which is irrelevant, a fail in one test has nothing to do with other tests, it has to be taken in isolation when you look at the short half lives of PED's. You could take something Tuesday morning and be clear by Tuesday night in some instances, so passing VADA at 6am on the Wednesday does not explain a fail with UKAD at 6pm)
  • The B Sample could not be tested in time so he presented other evidence - the other evidence has to be the above
Twitter is already full of "Why would he pay £40k to be tested if he intended to cheat as he knew he'd get caught?" - Complete fcking garbage, these people are so arrogant that they think they can be the testers. This "theory" is trying to use logic to beat a scientific fact - he failed a test. PED's where in his system AGAIN!

Good talker? No. He didnt like the questioning so he calls the reporter a name and then ignores him... That isnt impressive and it certainly isnt good.

Eddie might not have been present at any meeting but he has all of the facts to hand and would have been right at the fore of all this and pushing for the fight to remain on. I dont accept his suggestion that he was almost passive in all this and it was above his head.

Regardless of any of that; if Rivas wasnt told about this prior to the fight then this raises serious questions about the credibility of Hearn. And it is quite apparent that he is trying to hide behind UKAD and the BBBoC in terms of blame and responsibility.

So Eddie's story is that his company had a multi-million pound event taking place, it's failure to take place which could have serious repercussions on his company and maybe his relationship and contract with SKY and DAZN, something which could have blown his whole brand up over, and he was not involved in anything to do with the hearing?

Sounds legit.

In regards to him being a good talker. I was talking more generally. That's why there's so many people that fanboy him and Matchroom and are glorified groupies. I can't really remember seeing that with other promoters.

I even saw one YouTube comment today which was criticising him, and the person said they used to worship him. It was a fella aswell

I agree on that. I liked the nature of the questioning but he didn't really ask the correct questions. That's how I saw the interview aswell. It was a little frustrating to watch in that sense.

Also ive seen people say that if it's true that he had dianabol in his system and that it was trace amounts, it was likely a mistake of taking some kind of supplement.

However, from what I've read when it comes to something like dianabol, it's qualitative and not quantitative, so it doesn't matter how much is in your system.

As I replied to someone else, I was talking about him being a good talker generally, rather than in this particular interview.

There's a lot of people that buy into anything his says, hook, line and sinker regardless of the evidence and facts at hand.

You only have to look on social media and read the YouTube comments to see that at work.
