"Draw PTS" Can someone please explain

Post by Joe Boxer »

For this fight:

I don’t understand "Draw PTS"
(I think it should be “Draw UD”)

You are exactly right, but we do not have D-UD in the system, that's why D-PTS is used... I mean, there could be three judges scoring a D-UD, but also a scoring referee only... That's probably the reason it was called D-PTS when it was created... :maybe:

This is very strange

76 Jae Keun Kim 76
77 Suk-Kwon Kim 77
78 Kyung-Han Lee 78

How can there be so much difference in the draw scores? did some judges score 8-8 or 7-7 rounds??

I take it no points were docked,

I'm guessing as it was an 8 rounder, we had more 10-10 rounds

Thanks for the replies everyone.
By the way, there were so many 10-10 rounds being given here in South Korea, that one commission recently banned them
