On paper, I feel like Hooker's wins are clearly more legit than Ramirez's (and it's weird that Ramirez is rated so well, but it seems he got his rating from high-rated semi-randoms who got their points from other high-rated randoms). But Hooker got into some trouble against Saucedo, and could have lost, but was fortunate that he had enough heart to turn the tables and stop Saucedo. Saucedo found Hooker to be easily hittable, but Flanagan didn't. Ramirez has a weird style that involves a lot of bending at the waist and lunging with superman hooks. I think Hooker's porous defense would not be a problem against Ramirez's unconventional offense. I think Hooker would be able to find Ramirez's head with hooks a lot while Ramirez is bent over at the waist. So I kind of favor Hooker.

find this a hard fight to call, i think hooker got better since flannagan fight, but he also doesnt have a big height advantage in this fight he also gets tagged a lot , jose has some speed about him , can see him landing ,going to side ramirez due to speed

He has that slight size but a hefty reach advantage, he could make it a real real tough night for Ramirez.
Really is a close one. Think I'd fancy a bet slightly towards Hooker here. Just a hunch.

ARLINGTON, Texas - Junior welterweight prospect Movladdin 'Arthur' Biyarslanov battered Solon Staley before stopping him in the third round. Biyarslanov (4-0, 4 KOs) staggered Staley midway through the opening round, but this shorter Staley (1-4) fought back, landing a few punches flush to the face of Biyarslanov.

In the third round, Biyarslanov staggered Staley with a combination. Moments later, Biyarslanov pinned Staley against the ropes, where he landed a left-right combination. Staley fell forward, sticking his arms down to the canvas to break his fall, but referee Roberto Chapa immediately stopped the bout at 1:18.

In the opening bout, middleweight Darius Bagley defeated veteran Carlos Dixon (1-14-1, 1 KO) by unanimous decision. All three judges scored the bout 39-37 in favor of Bagley, who was making his professional debut. Both fighters reside in the Dallas area.
