I'd certainly watch it, but I wouldn't pay extra for PPV.

Manny, blow Floyd...away when you fight him a 2nd time. I mean what's not clear about that?

I missed it when Manny sucked Floyd the first time. I'll probably skip this one as well as I heard the first one had no climax.

I would much rather watch Manny vs the winner of Porter and Spence, or fight Crawford. He has proven he is one of the top guys at 140. Unless he publicly says he will take a couple of "retirement fights", a fight of anyone easier wouldn't be a good look.
If Thurman had won, he would get ridiculed if he didn't fight at least the winner of Spence vs Porter. BTW, I am one of the guys that didn't think Pac had much of a chance!

I should have corrected myself saying 140 instead of 147.

Two fights I would love to see Manny fight are Mikey Garcia and Lomachenko. Mikey would be easy to make, similar size guy. He'll probably want a tune up after Spence shut him out.

Loma would have to be at a catchweight, and it would take a lot of $$$ to get Loma to go 140 but he just might.

Manny has already proven himself at the top level. If he has 3 fights left, why not do entertaining fights that are winnable. I don't think Crawford or Spence are winnable for him.

i thought the same before thurman, my
opinion was not pac has no business
being in the ring with a top fighter.

still, i'm the sentimental type and would
love to see him getting out now with his
head as high as can be.

I agree I'd far rather watch him fight Spence, Crawford or Porter. I'm not remotely excited by the thought of FMJ v Pac II.

I did give Manny a good chance against Thurman but that was more to do with Thurman's inactivity rather than any
anticipation on my part that Manny would turn the clock back.

I don't see why it would be any less interesting than their previous fight. The 2 best guys of their era fighting probably always gets some attention.

I imagine that it would be a decent circus act, similar to the first. Therefore it would draw attention to boxing for a moment.

I would rather Manny do what he has been doing; giving younger, less popular boxers a shot at increased marketability. I would prefer that he rematch Thurman or fight Crawford.

As I mentioned last night, FMJ has been conspicuous as of late. The rematch may well be in the cards.

The one thing that Floyd loves is attention - he will find it very hard to allow Manny to have the limelight.

I think if Manny isn't going to fight floyd, he should bow out on top.

Anyone that doesn’t want to see this rematch of boxing legends in what will probably be both last fights isn’t a true boxing fan

What a load of old bollocks.

The reason I don't want to see it, is I am not willing to stay up until 4.00 in the morning, to be bored shitless - AGAIN!

If it was going to be his last fight, I'd still rather he rematched Thurman than Mayweather. If that makes me not a true boxing fan in your eyes, I can live with that.

That’s what Boxing is man. You stay up late and pay money hoping that it’s worth the time and money. I personally think that Manny’s shoulder injury and the poor refereeing lead to a poor bout. Just don’t tell me that you’re not going to watch it because you would. You are a boxing fan and it would be the biggest fight of the year so you’d take the bait. Just like the rest of us.

We don’t need to see Manny fight Spence. That’s s fight where Manny can get hurt. You don’t want a legend going out like that.
