Hunter v Kuzmin in September

Fairly decent matchup tbh. Have to favour Hunter but I like the risk being taken.

I like it, but as you say, I'd favor Hunter pretty heavily. :TU:

Does anyone really rate Kuzmin?

Sooner or later some of these HW prospects are gonna lose, this could be one.

Probably all of 'em are gonna lose. I don't see any Heavyweight at the moment that looks like any kind of unbeatable force. Even the guys at the top have glaring flaws.

Based on his last fight, no. I thought Dawejko was robbed.

Interesting fight. I'd have to favour Hunter but it's no gimme. Kuzmin doesn't always look much but he's got that winner's mentality of an unbeaten fighter, is aggressive, can dig a bit and if I'm not mistaken he was an experienced and quite successful amateur.

Hunter is a complete fighter who would be a real force to be reckoned with if only he were (naturally) a bigger man. I will definitely watch this one !

Gotta love how busy Hunter and Kuzmin have been. Good fight that Hunter should win, but . . .

It's great to see two HWs willing to risk their good records to fight quality opposition. I'll take Hunter by convincing decision.

Kuzmin slow and clunky, but appears to have some durability and punching power. Which makes the fight competitive, I do favor Hunter, 60% for hunter 40% Kuzmin, should be a good fight.

Yeah. I will be watching with interest to see how Hunter wins. That, for me is the important part. A devastating KO (probably not) or a decisive decision will evelvate Hunter's prospect potential on my watch list.

I haven't seen Kuzmin fights, but Hunter is definitely overrated.

Would whoever is overrating Hunter please step forward?

I don’t think that anyone has seriously overrated Hunter. I haven’t seen anyone claiming that he is any kind of world beater.

Are you suggesting that because most are picking him (with reservations) over Kuzmin that we are overrating him? Is that your roundabout way of picking Kuzmin?

If anything, I've been underrating Hunter for quite some time.

I really want to know who these alleged fans are who are “definitely” overrating Hunter. :maybe: I have never seen one.

Maybe they are talking about the members of Team Hunter themselves, but I don’t even think that they are out of line about Michael. They are taking it step at a time, keeping him busy and getting experience at HW.

Open question; has ANYONE met, or read posts of someone who is obviously overrating Hunter? :maybe:

A few posters in this thread give Kuzmin NO chances. Hunter didn't defeat anybody good, so what is their prediction based on?
