Amir Khan Swindled out of Saudi Money by Business Partner?
Sources close to the information have informed us that multi-division former world champion Amir Khan and former world champion Billy Dib have yet to paid their full guaranteed purses from their July 12 clash at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. According to one source, Khan is being "swindled" out of millions of dollars by business partner Bill Dosanjh, CEO and founder of Super Boxing League, the promotional company that staged the event.
We're told that Dosanjh and event manager Asif Vali were fronted $10 milllion by the Saudi Arabian government to cover certain expenses of the event, including fighter purses. However, according to multiple sources connected to fighters participating in the event, the entire card was paid "well below" expectations. We've reached out to representatives of Team Khan for a reply, but have yet to receive a response.

Khan got rid of a lot of people from his team after his Canelo loss. Turns out most where only around him due to his success. money and fame. He cut a lot of people out, or rather people started distancing themselves from Khan.
Looks like the same is happening again. Vali has been with Khan since he turned pro I believe.

Probably best to wait and see if this is actual news or Jibber jabber.
They should have asked Billy Dib.

Not the first time he gas been ripped off.
You would rather take-on FW in the courts than the Saudi government!
Khan (or somebody else) had the great idea of building a wedding venue in Bolton at a cost of £1m
They had spent £4m before he realised there was a problem - not sure how it all ended up
Why don’t boxers just earn their money and put it in the bank?

Well the Saudi gov provided the funds to SBL and Vali I believe.
Still building. It was then he also realised he was being taken the piss out off.Khan (or somebody else) had the great idea of building a wedding venue in Bolton at a cost of £1m

He's got Khan Promotions. Don't see why SBL were given all the funds, he could taken ownership. It's things like this where he looks like a tool, because his decision making skills are crap! Why don’t boxers just earn their money and put it in the bank?

Not smart enough, boxers tend to come from backgrounds where they had very little so when they become millionaires it becomes a massive shock to the system as they've gone from not having a pot to piss in to having more money than they know what to do with so inevitably it gets wasted on hangers on, women, gold digging family members, flash cars, flash houses, going into business with crooks who woo you with cheap promises like "put 3 million in to this venture and in 10 years you'll have 30 million" and eventually you end up with fornicate all.bripez wrote: ↑01 Aug 2019, 04:52 Not the first time he gas been ripped off.

You’d think someone close to them would maybe say something like “this isn’t gonna last forever “.

Anyone who is self employed who has to put money into projects to make a living will have made their good and bad decisions

Sadly it's normally the people closest to them who are the biggest thieves.ShadrachSimmo wrote: ↑01 Aug 2019, 16:29Michael Carroll syndrome.banjo wrote: ↑01 Aug 2019, 05:04

My Pakistani heritage mate said he’d never buy a car from an ‘Asian’ as they only sell it when it’s returned maximum value, and it’s falling apart
On Khan, he said he’d get the emotional blackmail bit first “let’s build a big wedding venue for ‘our community, our people’, biggest best in England, we’ll make a killing bro” Then rip you off blind.
He said it’s just a culture thing to get & keep as much cash in their pocket as possible. Not race, not religion. It’s Pakistani culture.

Agree , Its not a race thing , some cultures just don't know any better , when working there were some cultures for want of a better word who would NEVER in a million years get a wages job of me , It happenned not once , not twice but litery dozens of times over the years , where people of certain ethnic backgrounds woud want work , and every , time i gave it them , out come the sub contract agreement , to state they were on a price , self employed and their own boss , , because you could bet your life not long after starting, they would hurt themselves and want workers compensation , They would never get it off me , but inevitably i would here on the grapevine , they went elswhere , hurt there back , got there payout , bought there house and went on a cisability pension , it was definetly more common amongst certain sets of immigrants than others , . , they spoilt it for everyone , govt and emplyers came down hard and penalized the genuine ones with the compo claims .SAPFO wrote: ↑01 Aug 2019, 17:10 My Pakistani heritage mate said he’d never buy a car from an ‘Asian’ as they only sell it when it’s returned maximum value, and it’s falling apart![]()

Now for a little bit of info , who was the worst , i'm not saying , cos i don't want to get into a war ,, But what nartionality did i trust the least , has a small time employer that one is easy ,
There was a certain nationality , that i did'nt trust , not for compo , but other reasons , , Now my sons are all self employed starting there own buisnesses , and i tell them , whenever you employ this nationality , always ask them , what doid you do in your home country , If the answer is , i was a painter , or a capenter with the direct works for 15 years , employ them ,, If there answer is , i worked for myself , had 20 blokes working for me , DON'T GIVE THEM A JOB , because quite simply in there own country 20 blokes would be enough of a good living you would'nt leave , and 9 out of 10 times there gonna be lying backstabbing , bastards who will be undermining you and trying to pinch your work behind your back , and guess what everyone of my lads has come to me and said , Dad your right about them , that guy i gave a job has approached my builder behind my back , and i've got rid of him .
Guess who it is ,,,,,, wait for it ,,,,,,,,,, the ENGLISH , yep sorry but my own country men are the worst
Re: Amir Khan Swindled out of Saudi Money by Business Partner?
I'd never employ anyone because nobody can work to my standards.

I don't buy anyone "building a wedding hall for the community". So it sounds made up to me pal.
Promoting a community center? Gym? Fair enough.
To be fair, everybody makes bad decisions in business, Khan seems to have some well compared to his peers in say Hatton, Calzaghe etc.
As for the boxing, I'm sure Saudi will not want this considering their pushing this new image.
