Don't know how to say it but if GGG is gonna fight this type of opposition during his contract with DAZN then GGG is a smart businessman.

Madiev would be worse than Rolls

Yes but Murata is a Top Rank fighter.

As long as GGG gets paid well, he could fight Vanes, Wade and Adama again. It ain't his fault if he can make big M's by fighting stiffs.

Sure, but that's shitty for boxing and we as fans shouldn't support it. Might as well cheer for cherry picking low risk fights all the time then.

I am a big fan of his, but I wouldn't support any of those 3. It all started when they folded under Oscar's pressure and cancelled BJS fight in 2017. The whole Canelo saga has been detrimental to Golovkin's career. GGG could've had BJS, Andrade and Charlo on his resume by now instead of Canelo robberies.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑01 Aug 2019, 12:55 Sure, but that's shitty for boxing and we as fans shouldn't support it. You could very well be right, but it depends on how much money DAZN are willing to pay GGG to face such underwhelming opposition.apollo creed wrote: ↑01 Aug 2019, 12:18 Don't know how to say it but if GGG is gonna fight this type of opposition during his contract with DAZN then GGG is a smart businessman.![]()
I’m guessing that Golovkin is being paid a hell of a lot less to face Steve Rolls type guys than he would fighting Canelo.
Like I’ve kept saying repeatedly over-and-over again, if Gennadiy Golovkin is unable to secure a bout against Canelo next, then he won’t face anyone notable, despite there being an abundance of talent competing at 160lbs or 168lbs.

Yeah I'd like to see GGG vs Andrade but I can't blame the guy. GGG already fought the best in Canelox2 and Jacobs. He's 37 y/o , not 30.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑01 Aug 2019, 12:55 Sure, but that's shitty for boxing and we as fans shouldn't support it. Yep, but he didn't become undisputed and didn't break Bernard's record.ironbeard wrote: ↑01 Aug 2019, 13:43He made more v Gingerhead.boxing_rocks wrote: ↑01 Aug 2019, 13:28

3G is a professional prizefighter. He did his part. He got paid very well, for getting screwed twice.boxing_rocks wrote: ↑01 Aug 2019, 13:58Yep, but he didn't become undisputed and didn't break Bernard's record.

Agreed, but he’s clearly a businessman rather than a sportsman.apollo creed wrote: ↑01 Aug 2019, 14:05GGG is gonna get paid well anyway.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑01 Aug 2019, 13:53

The last thing I want is Golovkin being like Mayweather but he clearly slid that way.apollo creed wrote: ↑01 Aug 2019, 14:41“All Belts Do Is Collect Dust”Enlightened-One wrote: ↑01 Aug 2019, 14:14

GGG is doing the right thing by cashing in / milking as much money as he can before he retires.ironbeard wrote: ↑01 Aug 2019, 14:57Brook, Jacobs, Gingerhead, Vanes, Gingerhead, Rolls in the last three years.boxing_rocks wrote: ↑01 Aug 2019, 14:48
