Should be a pretty good action fight. I'm thinking Kownacki probably gets thrown to the wolves sometime next year, and fights Wilder, but for now this should be a reasonably fun little tussle with Arreola. Kownacki is way aggressive, will be interesting to see if he's able to stop Arreola in the first half.

I'm much bigger on Kow than you guys. I had him him tagged to be the next champ ever since I saw him fight Szpilka. Both of those Brooklyn fatties actually, him and Miller. I think Kow will do to Wilder what Ruiz did to Joshua.

I wouldn't bet money but i can easily imagine and certainly will hope for that!

He'll definitely go for it. One thing I'll give Kownacki, he's aggressive, and he's not shy about mixing it up. So a fight between him and Wilder would most definitely be fun regardless of who won it.

Good fight while it lasts. Arreola could probably be competitive for four or five rounds. Not the biggest Kow fan, but at this point in his career, Arreola can't go at Kow's pace for long.

Can't believe they took their shirts off for the weigh-in.

Arreola has lost weight, but put on zero muscle.

Kownacki has a soft gut that hangs over his shorts.

Still they make Mr Snickers Ruiz look like Schwarzenegger.

Kownacki will walk thru him. It's Arreola's farewell. Won't last four rounds.

Chris looks OK (for Chris)
Kow is starting to resemble a cow.

News just to hand...
Adam Kownacki and his pal Jarell Miller walk into a buffet restaurant. Owner files for bankruptcy.

266 1/2 is Kow's heaviest weight ever. Even in my blimping up periods my belly never got that bad, and I was able to lose belly fat fast. He's eating too much, probably at night. Eating at night is my weakness too.

I do find it disturbing how big his stomach was at the weigh in.
His weight vs Washington was what I thought as the maximum his frame could carry and still be fast and mobile.
We will have to see tomorrow how that goes. Chris is a bit past prime, though he is looking pretty good (for him) and is on a bit of a roll at the moment. Whilst I expect Kownacki to win, I don't expect it to be as easy as the Washington fight. When Chris really wants it, he can be tough to shift for the first 5-6 rounds.
I hope it's a good fight, I'm quite busy this weekend, so this is the only boxing I will get to see for the week. :verysad:

I can't understand how these athletes let them selves go. Any slo-motion replays are going to be disgusting! "jiggles"

It is a definite concern when a guy who relies on speed, volume and stamina comes in with Dunlap's disease.

Arreola is past it, but he and Kownacki had very similar approaches. Coming in heavy, especially when one of his advantages was handspeed surely wasn't the best idea.

I fancy it to be competitive for the first four or five rounds. After seeing Kow weigh in I'm even more certain of that. I hope I'm right because I'll be watching.

By the looks of both fighters it would be a small miracle if they could last 4 or 5 rounds

Kow looked great against Szpilka at 242 and that was just two years ago. The fat thing has worked for him so far but his belly is hanging over his belt now. He can't just keep blimping up. Andy Ruiz, though, is an inch shorter and weighed 268. It's the Chinese Year of the Fat Man!
