He's like a higher level Dave Allen, he can get in shape but the natural tools just aren't there for top level success.

Some of the prospects will catch up to him soon too. Joyce can beat him now. Wouldn't mind seeing that one.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑03 Aug 2019, 23:05 He's like a higher level Dave Allen, he can get in shape but the natural tools just aren't there for top level success.

It's easy to land lots of punches when your opponent has zero defence. They weren't hard punches because Arreola has a proven record of getting stopped at the top level, and he wasn't even knocked down. He did have his knees buckeled twice early on, but that isn't uncommon for Chris. If Kownacki was a true contender, he would have either won every round or put Arreola down hard.Ilya Muromets wrote: ↑03 Aug 2019, 23:00
We disagree, Boogy Woogy. He'll look a lot better when he trims down, and even at that weight he kept going, and he takes a punch better than almost anyone and set another record for punches thrown and landed. I think Arreola gets a lot of credit too. It was the best I've ever seen him.

The main question is - can he stand Wilder's/AJ's punches. If yes, i can imagine top shape Kownacki to stop them, i dont say he would, but i can imagine thatoogiebe wrote: ↑03 Aug 2019, 23:01LOL! Good fight, hunter would beat kownacki.

I think if Price fought like he did with Allen, he would have won, Kownacki is a lot easier to hit than Allen was.oogiebe wrote: ↑03 Aug 2019, 23:06Some of the prospects will catch up to him soon too. Wilder totally destroys this guy ..that is actually one of the reasons he exists as an option to be destroyed by Wilder..

Out of shape Ruiz couldnt stop the corpse of Liakhovich and looked unimpressive. We shouldnt rate Kownacki basing on that fight.KiwiRider wrote: ↑03 Aug 2019, 23:07It's easy to land lots of punches when your opponent has zero defence. Yes Arreola did it with a hurt hand - tho apparently he was still able to punch hard with it. Like I said he looked better than I've ever seen him, best shape. Kow has had spectacular wins, and his non-spectacular wins, like this and Martin, were when he showed up very fat.

Re: Round-by-Round: Adam Kownacki vs. Chris Arreola - August 3
Wilder would blather him like Breazeale. AJ might KO him, unless the AJ we saw against Ruiz is the real AJ. Kow might be able to beat that version. Ruiz; Fury; Ortiz; Whyte; all beat him easily. Rivas would beat him as well. Good fight with Chisora maybe.dagilechia wrote: ↑03 Aug 2019, 23:07The main question is - can he stand Wilder's/AJ's punches. Kownacki takes Price 7 times if they fight 10 times.

Kow helped Chris look good. He's just not that great. I enjoy watching him though. Let's see who he fights next.Ilya Muromets wrote: ↑03 Aug 2019, 23:10

I don't know about that. Price is an enigma, but he is long and powerful. If Price gasses, he's dead meat.
Re: Round-by-Round: Adam Kownacki vs. Chris Arreola - August 3
If you don’t have significant power you have got to have a certain degree of defense.
Kownacki has neither.
Kownacki has neither.

Actually, I thought about Chisora too. If there is anything left of Del Boy after Parker is done with him that isoogiebe wrote: ↑03 Aug 2019, 23:12Wilder would blather him like Breazeale. Kownacki fight tonight with Arreola was good match making though..
Re: Round-by-Round: Adam Kownacki vs. Chris Arreola - August 3
X2
If Chris Arreola can land double flush right hands at will, then you have to say his defence is around zero.

Re: Round-by-Round: Adam Kownacki vs. Chris Arreola - August 3
Kownacki is a good fighter though just not top 5 heavyweight mateiral he has fast hands and throws creative combination and likes to fight and has courage all admirable things but as some one said he lacks big ko power and defense not enough to go to the super elite level of top 5 heavyweight.
