According to Dan the judges had it 65-65 after 7 rounds and all three scored the 8th to JP.
To me it looked like there was really no other way to score it. Even if Browne gets 5 of the first 7 it's still even, then I do think Pascal won the 8th, so the judges had the right score. Some people say they had Browne ahead but I don't see how they did.

When and where their rematch will take place is still to be determined.

“Those are discussions we’ll have internally with PBC and TGB,” Greg Leon, Pascal’s manager, told BS.com, referring to Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions and promoter Tom Brown.

“I think it would sell more tickets [in Quebec],” Leon said. “We’ll see. Jean’s been doing pretty good on his American tour. He had the win over [Ahmed] Elbiali, in Elbiali hometown [near Miami]. Now he has a win over Marcus Browne in Marcus Browne’s hometown. I don’t know. Maybe we’ll go back home. Maybe we’ll keep this thing going where we go to people’s backyards. Pascal, I’m sure he’d love to fight in Montreal again. But we’ll see. We’re gonna fight where the fight makes the most sense.”

“Self-belief is a hell of a thing,” Leon said. “I think Jean has proven throughout his career that he has the intestinal fortitude and the courage and the heart and the determination to keep fighting against whoever. And it showed. It paid dividends [Saturday] night. When you keep fighting the best, it’s not easy to win every single fight. Of the last nine guys that he fought, seven of them were undefeated killers.”

in all honesty Browne should cut down too super middle weight and take the risk if he got out boxed on the inside like that by a awkward infighter with barley any mobility. This nigga will never be able to hang with some of these European wolfs who been whipping the division and seriously with that performance its proven his chin is too weak for dudes who deal dehydrating much better same reason he never achieve fornicating shit in the Olympics . hes better off taking on competition that hasn't step into 176 that way he can believe in his power no wonder he running them lips about cinnamon man.

Why do you think that he can cut down to SMW and not be even more fragile?

It was Browne's fight, he just didn't prepare for Pascal's right hook, yet that was a crucial factor.

Made the same exact mistake twice. Threw a combo, and had his hands low where Pascal's sweeping right caught him with maximum force.

It was Manny's fight against Marquez. He just didn't prepare to that counter

Pascal is solid counter puncher, but Brownes chin is just weak. Kovalev took a lot of Pascals counters and he take it. And Kovalev chin is definitely not one of the best. Just imagine Browne take hit from Beterbiev. I have one opinion for a long time. Maybe many posters will disagree, but i think you cannot be a world class boxer if you cannot take a punch.

Terry Norris? He admitted that women even dropped him

It's a good point though, at top level your other attributes better be fantastic if you cant hold a shot.
