A lot of bvllshvt.
Re: Andy Ruiz Jr. vs. Anthony Joshua II - 7 December 2019
A bunch of disinterested A-rabs in pijamas who got comped in. A small group of sober overseas fight fans without their mrs's.
Empty seats out of the camera's sight line, and bored security staff.

I still like Kiwi's post.

It won’t be empty - it will be mobbed. They are right into these events - Up until recently it was closed shop.
Now they have had Pop Concerts to 70,000 folk, WWE Wrestling has been sold out twice....UFC is heading there as well.
They never had things like this so they are massively popular with locals.

Was always gonna be the case, believe his team also have a say with the ref and judges too. Rumours are he’s getting $20m now.

"I'm looking forward to ending is career in the desert."
Chilling line from ice cold Ruiz. These heavyweight fights on exotic soil always seem to go wrong for the favourite, unless their name is Muhammad Ali. Foreman went down in the Congo, a big rock fell on Lewis's head in Brakpan, Coetzee lost thrice in various locales. The curse will continue. AJ won't have 90,000 fans to lift him up, it'll be a small room with no atmosphere with that mean scary psychopath coming right for him. Can't see that giant musclebound body adjusting well to the desert either. This fight has disaster written all over it.

Expecting a good fight. Joshua will have been genuinely humbled, beaten down that way, and then not being in the driver’s seat all the way during negotiations. He has an amazing opportunity to fix the things he’s been doin wrong, the amateurish things he had been getting away with.
Curious how Ruiz will handle the success, and whether he’ll use this as an opportunity to improve his conditioning. I liked how relaxed and solid and well rounded he was. He pressured the rigid, upright, energy burning Joshua. But if he doesn’t work on improving his shape, it will let him down - and badly - at some point.

I met a 30 year old Saudi Arabian guy who moved over from Saudi last year and he said he had never seen a Saudi woman normally dressed in real life other than his relatives. All women are walking around like ninjas there. I really didnt think it was that bad. He says there is a lot of hidden homosexuality which makes sense because its practically a prison.

It is pretty bad when the mercury is pushing 40°. You try being dressed head to toe in black. It's oppression pal, it's not in the Koran, and it's not cool.TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑25 Aug 2019, 17:31I met a 30 year old Saudi Arabian guy who moved over from Saudi last year and he said he had never seen a Saudi woman normally dressed in real life other than his relatives. So would i given the alternatives.
Just like when I wear full overalls, gloves and a respirator when I'm weed spraying. It might be hot and uncomfortable, but it's a lot better for my health.

I don't know anything about the koran really but it's pretty disgusting that they treat women like that in saudi. Money talks though and the US and UK consider Saudi a great ally because of their money.KiwiRider wrote: ↑25 Aug 2019, 17:58It is pretty bad when the mercury is pushing 40°.
