Those fat guys would be better if they lose some weight. Compare Kownacki VS Szpilka and VS Arreola. Ruiz should lose some weight too. But I doubt he will so I favor Joshua in the rematch.

Just because there are like5 dadbod heavyweights in the top 50 I dont think its an era. The old Foreman and late Tua were overweight too so its not like a new thing.

Page and tubbs met for the title in the 80s. They both had tits. Always ranked as my worst title fight ever until wlad/fury. I'd have to rewatch both to get a winner. I'll just call it a tie.

I guess the Andy Ruiz upset made it more prominent but its true there have always been skilled fighters that seem unable to get trimmed. Perhaps if there was decent money to be made at cruiserweight they would do the sacrifice but as it is now it wouldnt be worth it.

When Arreola was on his prime I thought he would have been an awesome Cruiserweight. Arreola-Adamek bellow 200 would have been something to watch. But just as Adamek ended up moving up after a bunch of fights a talented big guy does better money at heavy.

Kownacki would be better 10kg lighter, i guess that Ruiz too. Solis wasted his career in McDonald. Some fat guys can beat fighters with god-like physiques but it doesn't mean they wouldn't be better in shape

I mean only 1 of these guys mentioned has won a title, and it's doubtful he's gonna be hanging onto it long. Even if Ruiz gets past AJ in the rematch, I don't see him surviving 2020 with the titles.
