Maybe but i think it would be competetive while lasts.. I'd say Darek by TKO 11 or by SD/close decision

Darek hits hard too and had a superior jab, that said, imo Kovalyov would be the best he faced.

I don't think that Michal better than Pascal,Hopkins or Ward .IMO Kovalev beat Ward in his first.

IMO it was be a similar Tiozzo vs Dariusz.

Nice match-up between two quality Eastern European LH hard men.....would pay to watch that one especially with the Russia-Polish bragging rights thrown into the mix

I am pretty sure DM was never in the ring with a huge hitter like Kov but then again Kov probably had not faced the swarming pressure and sheer ruggedness of Dariusz.

Can't pick 'em to be honest.....but DM was a hard nut and maybe wins a German pretty brutal German stadium fight with both of them lumped-up and just a point in it??

Yeah i think it would be a very close fight won by DM i think that people underestimate Dariusz due to level of competition he faced... But apart of Ward fights Kovalyovs resume isnt that great either... Michalczewskis jab was fantastic Kovalyov is skilled too and has superior power but Darek is not a pillow puncher either... What would play important role is that DM was imo more durable and had a better stamina
