The problem is you don't need to keep saying it.elmersalsa wrote: ↑06 Aug 2019, 14:27And I will mention it again. So what's the problem?Ambling Alp II wrote: ↑06 Aug 2019, 10:44 I had no idea. You have only mentioned it about 10,000 times on this Forum, as well as previously on this thread.

I thought that they fought 3 times, sorry. Maybe I confused Lew Jenkins with someone else.

Kevin Finnegan went 0-3 against Alan Minter, despite Minter himself saying that he thought Kevin nicked the second fight. Also Shig Kaneko just seemed to have a hex over Flash Elorde, going 4-0 against Flash. Once even, while Flash was world champ.

Kaneko-Elorde is interesting. Some of these aren't that surprising, the better guy simply won.
However it's surprising that Elorde went 0-4. I did notice that all four fights went the distance and were in Japan. You have to wonder if there was home cooking from the judges.

Yep. Jones was almost as likely to have beaten Tarver in his prime as Ali would beaten Norton.

Didn't Dick Tiger lose 3 times to some Sonny West or the like???

Tyson would never have beaten Holyfield. Holyfield had his number mentally and physically.

Check out this guy":
https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/288089
Cesar Mamani hasn't beaten him despite having had 4 bouts vs. him (Mamani is 0-6-1 however, so...)
There are several other f-class fighters in his log who havent beaten him in 3+ tries....

Well look it here what I found!:
https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/43071
Guy gets 3 fights, all against Jose Luis Ramirez (who should be in the IBHOF IMO)
And he lost them all!

How about in 1988/89 timetable when the great Evander Holyfield just jumped up to Heavyweight and struggled with the likes of Michael Dokes and Alex Stewart? Would Holyfield beat Iron Mike then? He didn't looked developed as a full fledged Heavyweight, yet.

Of course he would, he wanted Tyson after dokes. Mike fan boys always point to trouble in fights like that and Cooper when his will and heart on display in fights like that is exactly why Mike could never beat him.

Forrest couldn’t beat Mayorga.
Mosley couldn’t beat Forrest.
Oscar couldn’t beat Shane.
Think the last two there fought in the amateurs, too.
