I'm sure a lot of people used to think - like me - that he should "just retire" but now, I'm struggling to think why I ever thought that !?

He's likeable, in exciting fights and has as much one shot power as the ATGs.
I wanna see him vs Fury, Chisora, AJ, Ruiz, Wilder, and especially in a fun HW Prizefighter - anyone and everyon really. :box:

I hope he wins a Euro Title too.
If he did manage to grab the EBU belt that, together with the British, Commonwealth and an Olympic medal make for a fantastic career even if he’s come up short at fringe world level.

I think it’s a shame he didn’t defend the Lonsdale belt enough times to have it for keeps at the time he was demolishing everyone...

He was mandated to fight Chisora coming off the second Thompson loss but decided to sign with Sauerlands and 'rebuild' instead.

It would have been the third defence of his British title.

At the time I felt he should have taken the Chisora fight, but I understand why he didn't take it.

All this about Price being a nice bloke etc. - the reality is that he can beat the Dave Allen’s but the first time he steps up he is getting knocked out

He is getting set up to be the sacrificial lamb for someone

Money, he pretty much said it outright.

Price isnt winning no title of value. He is making a few quid, who blames him. What Price need to do is fight the upcomers who are less experienced than himself but are also moneymakers.

Dubois, Hughie Fury or Nathan Gorman are the only 3 in the UK that can make him a few quid, out of those 3 Gorman is the most likey he could beat. I wouldnt rule him out a victory over Fury but I think Fury would be favorite to beat him. Dubois is the biggest one of the 3. Its possibly the best financially too. While you have to make Dubois the big favorite Price is the more experienced. Would be a good fight while it lasts but I dont think you would see Price being victorious.

Looking further afield Nigerian Efe Ajagba would be a good candidate but Efe is not really known in this country but with a bit of PR it would sell and again you would have to make Efe Ajagba the firm favorite but its not out of the question that Price could win. Both similar height (Price 2 inches taller) but I could see Price getting stopped.

Lucas Browne is now over the hill so this could be a decent slugfest and is anyones fight, but I would favour Price in this one.

Looking a bit further afield we have Adam Kownacki who is undefeated or a more beatable opponent is Gerald Washington who I think has found his limitations in the world of boxing. So out of those 2 Washington is possibly the only one you could give Price a fighters chance.

Well winning titles and earning money aren’t mutually exclusive, but I get your point. I perhaps should have phrased the question as: do you think Price is particularly bothered about winning any belts at this stage or is he solely looking for the highest return regardless...

I think that he is exclusively concerned with the money.

The big retirement paydays are possible for the likes of Price. If you have a couple of wins under your belt and are in the right place at the right time.
Fielding got a million dollar payday.
I'm sure Price doesn't want to go back to the day job, with a bit of luck he could get a shot.
If he can rise up the ratings a bit, I'm sure Wilder would be keen to have the fight, even Fury too.

Price can sell out the echo arena himself imo. Him as top of the bill vs even a spilzka would sell out

Neither i am but if i had to bet that would be my guess.. I think both are better than Allen, I even think that both have better best win than Dave does, i rank Granat and Lewandowski or Gashi higher than Old ped cheater bum beater Browne who previously lost to Kamil Sokołowski... Price could be more dangerous vs top 10 fighters than Wallin or Schwarz maybe (not sure about that too but that is likely) but at the same time i think he would lose to them

Both Lewandowskis are awful, even worse than all those other guys.

I think Wallin better than Schwarz. I wouldn't bet on Schwarz over Allen (or many other top 75 HW's). Lewandowski deserves no mention anywhere here. I never knew why some folks rated Browne anything more than a local level wad.

Why not Fury v Price in December? Fury wants a keep busy fight before Wilder. It would be a big seller and make both plenty of money. Surely the most logical fight for both. No-one wants to see Chisora 3. Price is also a huge puncher and similar height to Wilder. Both with MTK also I think
