I’m not so sure about that - I think BJS would fight all the top guys - think it’s more about FW not being able to deliver him the big fights.

The offer to Callum Smith for unification was similar to what Smith got to fight on AJ undercard. So it shows difference in offers and hence why BJS has left FW.

His next fight is being announced next week, according to Matchroom.

Think he's fighting Jo Jo Dan. Apparently Dan's been on the burgers

The deep end? He's a world class operator. There isn't a single guy at 160 or 168 that he would be out of his depth against.

7. Vincent Feigenbutz
8. Willie Monroe, Jr
9. Aslambek Idigov
10. Aidos Yerbossynuly
11. Juergen Braehmer

Parker and Richards no point. Feigenbutz is rubbish and Braehmer is about 50.
Surely it's a proper contest after the last shit sandwich he served up.
Canelo hasnt got a fight yet so why not? Saunders loses its no disgrace and he can still be involved at either weight.

Top Rank were saving Murdoch for Zurdo. A fight in Aus.. but that’s down the pan.

If they want to set up Smith vs Bjs in the future it would make sense for him to fight on Smith's undercard later this year.

Maybe Fielding will appear in the WBO rankings in the next week or two.... :maybe:

In that we won't be fed a line of the usually suspects.
It is possible for a Fielding type as a defence to get him going, but BJS isn't popular enough to sell shows unless it's against a top line opponent and its away from home!
I think this was the reason that FW was happy to let him go.

I really don't think they will get him a live opponent , they will be pushing for a Canelo / Golovtkin fight , and avoid Smith like the plague , He's just too mobile for a big guy , they just will not take the risk , Be very very suprised if the obstacles have not already been put in the way

Zac Dunn at 5 must be a target - David Brophy KO’d him and would be easy nights work.

Just another boring low level low interest fight tho. Not what he left Frank for.

Yeah BJS wants the big fights, but he's totally reliant on that being the other boxer. Hardly anyone gives two hoots about BJS, and why would you ?! He is tediously dull to watch and I wouldn't spend a penny to see him run around the ring with the odd well timed counter punch.

Callum Smith is fast becoming a star, not just because he has faced some good names, but because he can be exciting to watch. He's carved out his own success. Unlike BJS who brings eff all to the fans and desperately relies on someone else to bring the entertainment. He's just a big fight ponce.

Don't see Callum Smith as a "star" name yet.

I love Eddie's u-turn when he makes a signing. Andrade was going to beat BJS a few months ago - now BJS is not only world class but a geniune P4P talent.

I agree, but Smith is getting there and has the potential to become an attraction in his own right, The dismantling of Groves and destruction of N'Dam answered a lot of questions and he performed superbly in both cases.

N’Dam shouldn’t have been in that ring with him.

He needs to get more active. He’s at the peak of his career.

That's my view - N'Dam is no Super Middleweight and is no good vs a puncher. Groves was also past his prime and looked "wrong" from all that week. I went from tipping Groves to do a number for going for Smith during fight week. I think personally he is fortunate to hold that ring magazine belt, he's done nothing wrong but he has one world class win - and Groves didn't go into the fight as the ring champion.

I still wouldn't mind seeing Smith vs Braehmer.

Smith would stop him early, he's too old now. Braehmer had a chance to fight him in the WBSS and turned it down didnt he?
