I think that it was VERY heavily comped.
I heard about 1k comps, which actually isnt that much in comparison to a lot of fights with a top guy. Ive read that Wilder vs Breazeale had like 6k :o
The officially announced attendance for Wilder-Breazeale was 13,181. Not sure how many paid.
Fury-Schwarz was announced as 9.012 (5,489 paid).

Wallin can warn whoever he likes. He’s getting beat easily, the man wouldn’t beat half a dozen current British heavyweights right now.

Fury has pulled an Audley Harrison. ESPN should have learned from the BBC's mistake.

Who knows? It is all hearsay. In Vegas, comps are anything but free.

The wind generated by the velocity of his missed punch knocked his opponent down. Fury best be working very hard on his wind resistance. :o

His last KO was against Srad Govedarica in 2018.

I get a lot of us don't like Wallin as an opponent, but we shouldn't discredit him on what I assume was an opponent from when he was fighting every month in 2015. Hell it might be his first ever fight...

After viewing that video at 1080p, you can make out the name on the YouTube Teddy Atlas is watching. It's a TKO of a guy called David Gegeshidze from back in 2015. Which was also Wallin first of 5 fights back in 2015. So I think we can cut him some slack on that one

Of course it matters.

Wallin's record shows that David Gegeshidze
was his first win of five in 2015, during a period when as a young fighter he needed to be facing as many opponents as quickly as possible for ring time experience.

Every fighter has less than admirable opposition when they are coming up.

I think it was more about his opponent's lack of desire to fight than on Otto's skills.

It seems like a totally trivial thing in all. Some totally overmatched weak opponent went down easy. So what.

And btw just last year he fought this guy https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/716438

Fair point, but the guy appears to be someone who gets brought in to be a professional L on a record.

No doubt. I'm guessing if his handlers thought more of him, he wouldn't have taken this sort of fight at this time. More development would have been better.

Agreed, not a good opponent, but it looks to be a stay busy fight when taken in the context of him beating Granat less than three months later for a lesser European belt

Edit:. I just want to reiterate. I too would prefer Fury to face top 20 opposition at a minimum

But I do expect Wallin to try to make a fight of it, and try to rough fury up a little. He seems game from what little I have watched of him
