Who do we like in the rematch between Stipe and Cormier?

I'm leaning towards Miocic, although I picked him in the first fight. He just got clipped, it happens, i reckon if Miocic and Cormier fought 10 times, Miocic would win more than he lost. Bookies have Cormier a slight favourite though, so i'll likely put something down on Stipe.

DC defended against Derek Lewis. Stipe has been idle. I'd like Stipe to win. But DC has a very good track record at HW. I'm pretty confident in another DC win.

Oh yeah, forgot about his beatdown of Lewis.

Thing is Miocic looked pretty much unbeatable until Cormier - was winning in style - that's what I love about MMA, nobody is unbeatable as there's so many potential techniques.

Nah mate. Enjoyed his fights a while back but was a bit indifferent about him. Recently he has just got on my tits. Obviously a talented and knowledgeable guy, but quite annoying. Also, respectfully, don't think he did the right thing by Stipe in the aftermath of the first match.

The last bit I do agree with for sure, it was a bit shabby to say the least.

There are some incredible matchups this weekend. Of course, DC/ Stipe. Diaz/Pettis and Costa/Romero are insane. Really looking forward to seeing if Costa can overpower Romero the way he has all his other opponents up to this point.

Cormier 9 times out of 10 against anybody not called Jones (and not even all the Joneses).

He has a great chin and wins the fight as soon as he reaches the first clinch.

You can see it on Twitter. Looks like he was trying to get the old man to drink some whiskey and the old fella kept refusing so he socked him.

Absolute scumbag.

Nah this is new, apparently there's a video of some guy sat at the bar who Conor hits in the face allegedly over the old boy refusing to drink a shot of whiskey Conor bought.

Could be Chinese whispers though :maybe:

I am saying that Cormier is way better than everyone in the world except Jon Jones. I am not a fan of his, it is just the way I see it - great chin, a nuclear bomb in each hand and most importantly the best wrestling at HW.

I've just seen the video now and to me it looks more like he swills him with his drink rather than punches him.

What kind of mental case goes into a bar, tries to buy everyone a drink, and the slugs a guy for declining?

Dude has serious problems.

He should do a short stint of jail time, straighten him the fck up. Clearly out of control, drunk on his own ego and fame.

What sort of a coward is he, punching an old man, and him a professional combat sports participant. What a pudendum.
