The death date listed for Sheppard (1984) doesn't coincide with the information contained in the link to the CBZ article about Sheppard. What's the explanation for this ?

how funny. i was reading about the Hatchet man the other day and thinking about the same thing. the guy who wrote the article says he met him '88-89. maybe its a typo, he meant '78.

The information we have here is correct. The author likely met a man claming to be Sheppard (or just made the whole thing up).
