Dmitry Bivol considering Matchroom and PBC offers
Light heavyweight world titlist Dmitry Bivol, 28, of Russia, is weighing offers from Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn as well as Premier Boxing Champions, manager Vadim Kornilov told ESPN on Monday. Kornilov said he has an offer from Hearn for Bivol, who is a broadcast free agent, to face an opponent to be determined on Oct. 12 on DAZN in the co-feature of former undisputed cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk’s heavyweight debut. If they go in that direction it would be Bivol’s second fight in a row with Hearn and DAZN. But Kornilov also said PBC is interested in signing Bivol (16-0, 11 KOs), who has made five title defenses, to a deal that would begin with a fight on Fox in the fall, also against an opponent to be determined.

I'm confused. I thought he had already signed to Matchroom USA awhile back? I remember Hearn making a big deal about it.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑20 Aug 2019, 10:08 Light heavyweight world titlist Dmitry Bivol, 28, of Russia, is weighing offers from Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn as well as Premier Boxing Champions, manager Vadim Kornilov told ESPN on Monday. A lot of people trashed his fight with Pascal but that doesn't look so bad now.
No ESPN offer?

Apparently he didn’t sign a deal with him. Unless it was a fight by fight basis. Just using him for the cards.Nondescript wrote: ↑20 Aug 2019, 11:29I'm confused. Hearn probably wants to tie him down. But who can he offer?
PBC only have Browne, Pascal (Champion) and Jack.. maybe a few other fringe contenders.
ESPN is his best chance.

Pascal wasn’t THAT great against Browne. Wasn’t winning any rounds he didn’t score a KD. But still a win is a win. Bivol beats Pascal by UD and then Pascal goes on to win beat Browne.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑20 Aug 2019, 11:35 A lot of people trashed his fight with Pascal but that doesn't look so bad now.
