Derev is better than the likes of Lemieux, Murray I think, but still, it's worth pointing out that his best result is losing to Danny Jacobs in a good fight, and that he wasn't exactly so hot vs Culcay. Sergey is a top 10 MW and I am totally fine with this fight ,and think styles will match well, but it's a bit humorous to see certain people loving this yet then trashing the possibility of Canelo vs Kovalev

Golovkin landed clean but Canelo has a strong chin. Anyway in that fight we can see that the youth plays a major factor. There was a solid reason why these fights happened when G was 35 and 36 y/o .

Yup. Too much 'wise' advantages for Canelo just to beat an old fighter. That sparring session with G must have been very intimidating for Canelo. I don't know why but I have the feeling that karma is gonna do his job and Canelo would loss against someone younger than him at some point of his career.
