I think Makabu is nicking it after 8 but hard to tell for sure as I missed a couple and Papin is the home fighter so will nicking it be enough anyway?

They are only showing the main event, not the undercard.

Good scrap this. Didn't expect it to go on this long.

Papin was nearly gone then. Ref just jumping in for no reason.

Papin out on his feet at the end of the 11th

Yes. KD. Papin is going for it.
Ref kinda ruined the fight a little.

Fair play to Papin for coming back after going down in the last (thought it was a slip myself) but no way does he deserve the nod.

Too narrow scored. MD? Really? Makabu won clearly.

Suprised at the result, expected a draw on home turf.

Good decision. Thought he was going to get shafted there when I heard the first score but fair play to the judges.

Two Russians in a row about to lose, this next one by big KO
Re: Round-by-Round: Sergey Kovalev vs. Anthony Yarde - 24 August 2019
“Suck it and see” has never been a go-to phrase for me, but I’m now wondering if after everything I’ve said about a tactical fast start or a tactical slow start, Yarde is just going to turn up and do his best and what will be will be,
Maybe the prospect of losing his unbeaten status doesn’t actually worry him that much. He might just be a really happy guy win or lose.
The wages are certainly enough to put a smile on anyone’s face.

If Yarde catches Kov and Kov becomes on unsteady legs? Yarde should just jump on him.
